Not posting since I am unsure if we can excerpt Time.
The upshot is the EU has found that the US is in violation of Visa reciprocity from Bulgaria, Romania, Croatia, Cyprus, and Poland and wants to force US citizens to get Visas to go there.

You do realize that this is a thread for people vowing not to travel to Europe, right? LOL
Who wants to visit moozlum-europe anyway? Although, it might be interesting to see cars burning in the street, riots, assaults and sexual attacks. Then too...
The only place in Eorpoe I would love to see is the military cemetary at Normandy.
I dont think I could handle the emotion though.
Just think, in there somewhere might be the man who could have cured cancer or some other thing like that. What a waste...
My daughter is in England right now. She was a student at a Bible school there. Last month the government told the school they couldn’t have any more non-EU students, which was over half the student body. I think it’s punishment for the region supporting Brexit.
She completed her classes and is just visiting friends
So friggin what...when I was traveling to Europe I had to get a visa for each country I went to.
Yes, and I just tried to show how stupid the EU is for making it where we don’t want to travel to Europe and how it will hurt them more that it will us. LOL!
I don’t follow—you are showing how Europe is making it harder for people who do not want to travel to Europe to travel there?
They did have a passport, the visa could be fixed to the end of the barrel.

When Eisenhower the night before D Day was watching a movie with his officers, the movie was Richard III. It was right after “kingdom for a horse..” anecdote, he turned to one of his officers and whispered “what is with these Europeans and war? Every hundred years they kill each other..

The gay days at world and land have been in existence for years. Years ago, they would publicize and close the parks to the general public during the times, days, and/or locations of the limited areas the gays were offered to use the park. The reason for this was the blatant sexual acts like groping, and in some cases in the less traveled areas, open acts of lewdity that were accomplished during their group visits.
Unfortunately Disney no longer even warns the public and has offered the park to joint visits by both at the same time. The acts didn’t stop, so a real problem have obviously surfaced. But the Lewd and Lascivious Conduct laws of both states are more geared to adult/child actions rather than just the lewd acts themselves. Plus it’s on private property with the owners being licensed for entertainment. (I guess that’s what you call it)

Sounds like a truly stupid plan on the EU’s part. You could pretty much guarantee a yuge drop in US tourism to Europe if Americans have to bother to get a visa. At this point in my life I no longer have the least interest in going back to Europe. It doesn’t seem to be Europe any more.
Looks like Europe just wants undocumented Syrians for tourists. Good luck with that plan! Time to spend American tourism dollars inside the USA.
Since europe started importing terrorists, no one in our family vacations there anymore.. Oz and New Zealand are more appealing.
I haven’t visited Europe in a decade and I have no desire to. Europe is finished. To me East Asia/ Oceania/ Australia are a lot more compelling.
I’ve been to a bunch of countries, and if they require a visa, I get a visa. When I lived in Thailand, I was close enough to the Laotian border that I did a run up there every 30 days to renew my stay when I recrossed back into Thailand. I’ve even got an Iraqi visa when they started requiring them for contract workers in ‘10. Countries get to set their own requirements. Maybe the US will get there with Trump, instead of having liberals, mehico, and the un trying to set our immigration policy.
Darn !!! I was just in Europe the other .... uh, 1977 ... and I was fixin’ to go right back any day now. Guess I’ll have to put it off another 40 years now.
I was merely commenting to the facts of the title of the piece...i.e. Americans might have to get a visa to travel there and pointing out that it would be very stupid on their part to antagonize the very people who spend lots of money over there. A general statement. Some people...even freepers...might want or need to travel there. Now do you understand?
If you don’t want to travel there, so be it, but if you DO, then having to have a visa is going to be a pain and its about them being stupid and obstructionist.
>>Ive been to a bunch of countries, and if they require a visa, I get a visa.<<
Very few Americans travel abroad as you have. Most will travel to EU once or twice in their life.
Since 9/11 most Americans know to get a passport, since it is needed even for Canada, Mexico, the Bahamas, etc.
I think they won’t wan’t the additional hassle and will change travel plans.
22 years in the USAF, home maybe 3 months out of every year on average, TDY the rest ..... done with traveling anywhere but Texlorado’Newmexlahoma !
My own fishing and hunting arena.....no visa needed.
Not interested in visiting the land of eurotrash.
