You have no idea what the hell you're talking about.

OH YES SHE DOES!

You're going by legal standards, and don't seem to understand the standards being used are those of girls on the schoolyard...and YOU'RE wearing a prettiest dress!

I must apologize for the language. I’m forced to hear a lot of it at work and try not to pick it up but don’t always succeed.

If Sessions is not a fighter like DJT, maybe he should make room for someone who is.

The U.S. Attorney General cannot conduct himself like any other cabinet appointee. He is a lawyer first and a political figure second. This means he has professional obligations that he would not have if he were the U.S. Secretary of Labor, for example. His announcement yesterday was the most inconsequential event in Washington in the last three months. By definition, a lawyer cannot serve in an oversight capacity in cases where he has ties to the person or organization being investigated.

Sessions explained this clearly in his press conference yesterday.

When was the last time the United States ever had an Attorney General who was a "fighter like DJT?" It hasn't happened in my lifetime -- for the simple reason that political figures can be fighters in public, but an attorney general cannot.

I’m tired of all this Soros/Clinton/Obama/Shadow Government crap - praying and hoping that The Donald is keeping his powder dry and biding his time and that when the time is right he will show his ‘Trump Cards’.

On July 25, first day of the DNC convention, 3 days after the Wikileaks reveal, Dem campaign manager Robby Mook went on CNN and claimed that Russians were behind the hacking of DNC emails. He said that "experts are telling us" that Russians did it, then referred to "experts" again and again during the interview. Jake Tapper, as if he were Mook's defense attorney, asked him good questions, even asked for evidence, but then accepted whatever answer Mook gave, in as long an uninterrupted time that it took Mook to answer, with never a challenge to its veracity. Tapper certainly did not challenge Mook to name any of these so-called experts. IMHO they could have been members of Hillary's campaign who dreamed up the claim.

Following this CNN interview, the idea that the Russians hacked the DNC emails was no longer touted by the MSM as an unsourced claim but as a fact according to reporting on CNN. I remember this being the reference that was made to look like there was proof. Before rewatching this interview today, I did not remember that Mook used the term "experts" over and over. It is very likely that later references to this interview referred to the "experts" on CNN. There were, of course NO named experts making the claims but truth in reporting has little to do with the MSM.

The below is a recent description by CNN of the interview. Now even CNN puts quotes around “experts.” Perhaps using quotes is another way to say fake. I don’t recall any MSM talking like it was an unfounded accusation before the election.

State of the Union

Hillary Clinton campaign manager Robby Mook said in an interview with CNN’s Jake Tapper that ‘experts’ have said Russians coordinated the hack and release of DNC emails to help the Donald Trump campaign.

Guys, FWIW, if President Bad-A$$ is doing what I think he’s doing (and, no, I won’tgo into specifics), he’ll soon have the uniparty (and by that I mean both Ds and Rs) by the short hairs. And, man, it’s gonna be sweet...

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

I’ve been thinking about this as well. “So you want an investigation...”

The current climate in Washington absolutely requires that the Attorney General comes out with both guns blazing.

Anything less will effectively promote sedition by the communists and satanic left.

Therefore, Sessions will come out with both guns blazing.

Bank on it.

I think its a mistake to recuse himself - I hope he un recuses himself. Its time to come at these people hard. How about an indictment of HRC instead.

Its time for the GOP to stop aiding abetting these drive bys

For sure the ‘Russia did it’ narrative was fabricated by the Dems. Wikileaks even said they did not get the leaks from the Russians. I hope Trump and company are way ahead of the Dems, if so, it could be why Sessions recused himself from any Russia-Trump investigation. In other words, he could be standing back knowing the truth will come out and they won't be able to blame Sessions for the results.

How? What kind of question is that?

Is the poster creating comments on post-it notes in private?

Now that I’ve had time to think about it, I would have preferred he had said, “At this point in time, there is no case nor any charges to recuse myself from. I will revisit this if that ever changes.”

implied in the recusal is the fact that there will be no DOJ investigation of the Trump campaign

The problem is that he cannot confirm or deny that any investigation is underway. What he did was to recuse himself from any decisions in the future as to the direction of those investigations. He washed his hands.

That being said no one has even identified a crime that could possibly be pinned on any member of Trump's administration or his campaign. At this point all you have are baseless allegations that some as yet unidentifiable crime may have been committed somewhere by someone.

At this point I think I can say with confidence that there is no investigation because there is no crime.

What we are witnessing is a classic example of a political witch hunt.
