But George W. Bush tells PEOPLE that he feels a real fondness for Michelle Obama.
“She kind of likes my sense of humor. Anybody who likes my sense of humor, I immediately like,” says Bush, in an interview to launch his first art book and new exhibit, Portraits of Courage: A Commander in Chief’s Tribute to America’s Warriors, a collection of his paintings of post-9/11 war veterans.

He was a laughing stock during his Presidency and during Obama’s terms. Obama consistently blamed everything on him and ridiculed him all of the time. Those of us that supported him took a lot of ridicule directed at us, because of him.

The more we know about da Bushes, the more obvious it is that Michelle does not despise Bush and probably considers the two of them simpatico. Why despise someone who probably agrees with you on most things?

Bush must know that a former President should be offering thoughts and opinions on policy, his experience in office, etc.
