It was the worst night for Democrats since November 8, 2016. After President Trump’s speech to a joint session of Congress, Rachel Maddow looked as though a loved one has just died – the same face she had on Election Night. Her fellow panelists, desperate for something to criticize, focused on the president using two hands to pick up a cup.

The Democratic Party members watching that speech looked like a party of the living dead. They didn't know how to react. They didn't know if they were Americans. They didn't know who they were.The Democrats' response was simply pathetic, delivered by a former governor of Kentucky who was replaced by a Republican. The party that is obsessed with identity politics chose an old white guy with white hair who reminded every cable TV viewer of a pitchman for products and services sold to seniors.
Every time Trump called for bipartisanship for the good of our country, they winced. They couldn't stand it and didn't know how to react because they are the least bipartisan people in the world and they scarcely know what cooperating is. Working together is not in their natures.

The Democrat Party cannot destroy itself fast enough. Last night’s speech marked the end of eight straight years of the Democrat’s overt attempt to tease apart the American mainstream fabric through the use of identity politics. At stake was America as envisioned by its Founders vs. hateful, anti-American, new world order globalists and their freakish ambition to cede America’s future, treasure and security to the UN’s corrupt third-world banana republics and those who control them.
The alt-left Democrat Party spent decades dividing Americans into an archipelago of victim-classes, pitting each against the others, while erasing as many moral and ethical boundaries as possible. Their goal was to so distort reality that objective truth and moral certainty would eventually vanish, and that America would kneel before the poisonous tenants and spirit-killing madness of Cultural Marxism. It was all right out of the Saul Alinsky playbook.
As of last night all of that has changed forever. America has awakened.

President Trump is the first man in a century to openly call for politicians to LOVE the American people. He was Teddy R, Churchill, and JFK in one astounding speech.

I wholeheartedly disagree with that statement. They will work with Republicans like a fine tuned well oiled machine.

I believe most normal people have had enough of reactionary opposition from the losers. If the democrats wish to be the party of foot-stomping oppositional defiant personality disorder, fine. Be my guest. I’ve dealt with disturbed adolescents for years.
But, the rest of the adults will not act out and WILL act in the best interests of the entire country.
As far as the entertainment industry to which McDonnell, Maher, Moore and the rest belong, I remind you that opinions are like rectums. Everyone has one. Yours are simply televised. It is a great good that there is an on/off switch on all electronics, and movie theaters can be bypassed.

Anyway, I was really struck by how pathetic and sad the token Democrat response was. They had some washed up ex-governor from Kentucky that must have been 80 years old give a canned 9-minute speech in some dark diner (that was obviously closed for the night). Behind him were some unsmiling, very unenthusiastic looking people sitting on stools with deep frowns. They looked like refugees from a Jeb Bush rally.
I couldn't believe that the normally media-savvy Democrats would have such a depressing backdrop for their response. I can only surmise that they were hoping that the optics of sad-looking "plain folks" from a run-down diner in flyover country would paint a dark image of "Trump's America." If that was the intent, it badly backfired on them.
