The president opened by celebrating Black History Month. Lady Democrats wore white. Donald Trump delivered the most finely crafted speech of his political life Tuesday night in what will go down as one of the best speeches delivered to a joint session of Congress in the past two decades. He hit stirring emotional high notes. And he laid out his vision for his presidency. Mr. Trump stole the issue of affordable health care from Democrats. He unabashedly owned the fight against illegal immigration.

Is this pic for real or photo shopped?
if real, are these girls for real; are they demented, just so far out there, in their thinking???
If we can pass voter ID laws we’ll have a lot fewer Dims.
Platform (1924)
We reaffirm our belief in the protective tariff to extend needed protection to our productive industries. We believe in protection as a national policy, with due and equal regard to all sections and to all classes. It is only by adherence to such a policy that the well being of the consumers can be safeguarded that there can be assured to American agriculture, to American labor and to American manufacturers a return to perpetrate American standards of life. A protective tariff is designed to support the high American economic level of life for the average family and to prevent a lowering to the levels of economic life prevailing in other lands.
In the history of the nation the protective tariff system has ever justified itself by restoring confidence, promoting industrial activity and employment, enormously increasing our purchasing power and bringing increased prosperity to all our people.
Great speech / delivery by The Donald.
One thing I noticed was Ryan scanning the audience for votes....
I supported him when he ran with Romney, but the more I watch him the more I see a pure politician ..
Contrast that with The Donald, who truly exudes he’s in it for US... and USA....
The dems look like they are having some kind of collective fit of narcissistic rage.
They always accuse Trump of narcissism.
They are always projecting though.
The camera flashed a couple of times to the Women in White making inane hand gestures (thumbs down) during Trumps speech. My take was that they looked extremely childish and undignified.
Agree. Also very apparent the Dems only stood and clapped when it was something that benefited their donors and they dare not show their support..
Pure kabuki theater.
After 2018 when more Republicans are elected to the Senate McVain becomes irrelevant.
Cant happen soon enough. Throw in another insurance vote to offset his buddy Lindsay
Republican presidents after Reagan...lemme think about that for a moment. Seems as though they had something in common. What was it?
Obviously someone whose never listened to Mark Levin for any length of time.
You would have heard him hundreds of time detail exactly why Crony Capitalism has NOTHING to due with conservatism.
The Democrats are now rebels without a cause.
The women in "white" reminded me of someone who shows up at a formal dinner party wearing a Halloween costume.
They diminished themselves and the Democrat party badly.
I would rather listen to Fran Dresher. Her voice is less grating. Levin has a face for radio and a voice for print.
Ethically he is a damned weasel. Look into him firing Mark Styen and the resulting lawsuit. Levin is a scum bag.
He is trying to emulate Beck, and not even measuring up to that ankle high bar.

Thanks for the link. That’s pretty fresh. I don’t think both sides of the story have come out yet regarding the lawsuit.
Lawsuit was filed the 22nd. Seems a bit premature to start accusations.
Interested to hear both sides on this one.
ha, so true, but I was referring to ALL national figures and candidates, not only Presidents. Compare all the Congressional leaders, presidential candidates, etc. since 1984..... there has been no one else who can lead the way it needs to be done. Trump towers over all of them. Newt had his good moments but could never lead the nation the way this guy can.
If all Republicans don’t recognize what we have and start rowing in the same direction, the miscreants need to be thrashed.
” ... leaves Democrats befuddled, in ruins, with question marks”
Why is this ‘news’ - that sounds exactly like their normal state to me.
It’s a shame some one didn’t show in a giant phallus suit and start trying to pick them up. I bet that would have been hilarious.
This is wrong. As led by Trump, but our favorite pubbies are showing NO leadership whatsoever.
