The family of Mack Beggs has said he would rather be wrestling boys, but state policy calls for students to wrestle against the gender listed on their birth certificates
A 17-year-old transgender boy completed an undefeated season Saturday by winning a controversial Texas state girls wrestling title in an event clouded by criticism from those who believe the testosterone he's taking as he transitions from female to male created an unfair advantage.
The family of Mack Beggs has said he would rather be wrestling boys, but state policy calls for students to wrestle against the gender listed on their birth certificates. So the junior from Euless Trinity beat Chelsea Sanchez 12-2 in the 110-pound weight class to improve to 56-0 and earn the championship.
Flanked by his teammates after the team won second place in Class 6A, the largest division in Texas, Beggs broke his silence.

Their own policy:

Testosterone is classed as an anabolic steroid...I’m no doctor, but confused as to how this trannie’s use slips thru whatever loophole has been concocted...
Another tortured PC decision?
I am pretty sure Elly Mae was pitching for the other [ahem] team, if you get my drift.
[[The family of Mack Beggs has said he would rather be wrestling boys,]]
Your child is not a male, what the hell is the matter with you? Your child is sick- mentally- they need help- not encouragement to continue their illness!
[[I never thought I would see the day when these freaks would be forced on the populace to either accept them or be called names.]]
Lemme just add- that not only will they be called name,s but will be fined and in cases to come, will lose their businesses like Christians have lost their businesses for not watering to violate their faith by participating in the abomination of gay marriage ceremonies
Am I following this correctly?
you are following it most correctly...shouldn’t we applaud this organization for making the ‘girl’ perform based on her birth certificate...?
I have been involved in high school sports in several areas - competitor, coach, and now a spectator - most all my life and I have never heard of the sport of girls wrestling. When did all this come about. I pretty sure it doesn’t exist in NC; it is never mentioned on a sports page.
Laws and rules suspended for Leftists to do whatever they want.
Performance enhancing drug rules - suspended. Testosterone is the best!
Boxers on testosterone could kill their opponents. Now OK.
Were any of the non-enhanced competitors injured or maimed as a result of allowing such powerful drugs to be used by some, but not others? Any shoulders or necks wrenched loose, that will never be the same?
Did the dose of testosterone (the now sacred “transition”) increase in accordance to the competition schedule, like a regular doping cheat would do?
Really??? I never heard that....
I was watching one gu in a woman’s race. and he easily beat the women, and was not even panting or struggling.
Now imagine those poor women who have worked for years to get there, and now only to find a guy can just come on and beat them easily by saying he wants to be a woman.
Anyone thinking this is normal is complexly insane, and used to be locked up for mental help

The character was an ingénue who didn’t go very far. The actress, whom I met once, was married twice and had a son.
I suppose this is the desired result for men who objected to women's athletics anyway.
I made a mistake. It was Nancy Culp who played Jane Hathaway the Banker who came out of the closet. I must be getting old mixing up Donna Douglas and Nancy Culp !
LOL...OK...I was thinking about what a waste that would be for it to be Donna Douglas...LOL
My mom used to baby-sit Terry and Dory Funk.
That’s awesome!!!!
I grew up on wrestling. The very first day we had cable, I was watching WGN in Chicago, Saturday night wrestling.
On the Chicago channel, it was the Funk brothers who pulled a shiv out of their shorts, or bashed the opponent with a chair when the ref wasn’t looking.
On the Amarillo channel they were the white-hat good guys.
That’s the day I learned pro wrestling was rigged. My “ovaltine” moment growing up.
I worked for NASCAR driver in the ‘70’s (Elmo Langley)...A couple of his friends were Lucky Roberts and Homer O’Dell (wrestlers)...I learned a lot about pro wrestling from listening to them....
