I was getting a bit of a chuckle out of the Dims, too. And, the LSM keeps saying the Pubbies are in “chaos”. I think Perez thought he was throwing a bone to Ellison and his supporters by making him “Deputy” - so far, it doesn’t sound like it’s working (too bad - so sad). Maybe Hillary and/or Obama will come out and call for “unity”.
The race for DNC Chairman was, of course, totally "rigged." Bernie's guy, like Bernie himself, never had a chance. Clinton demanded Perez!

Starting with Obummer, the Dims insisted that the Pubbies intermingle with them seating-wise during the SOTUs - IIRC it was because they wanted it to look like he had a lot of support (Dims would stand and it would be harder to see all of the Pubbies sitting). I’m wondering if they’ll go back to the Pubbies on one side and Dims on the other.
On another note, I wonder if Sheila Jackson Lee will get there early (or someone do it for her) like she’s been doing for years (even under Bush) to get an aisle seat so she can be on TV and shake the President’s hand (even though she doesn’t like him).
