Jackson, 51, who got out of federal prison in 2015 after pleading guilty to looting his campaign fund, receives about $100,000 a year in tax-free workers' compensation benefits because he has bipolar disorder and depression, the Tribune reported.
Jackson also receives about $38,400 a year in Social Security Disability Insurance benefits, which fall under the purview of the Social Security Administration.
Jackson's conditions have been worsened by his contentious divorce from former Chicago Ald. Sandi Jackson, according to his Chicago divorce attorney, Barry Schatz, who could not explain how Jackson's job as a congressman might have contributed to his issues.

SSD pays a little ofver $700/month.
That’s $8400/year.
How does he rate $38,000.00?
Black privilege?
Don’t be racist.

Why SSD on top of the 100,000 in workman’s comp? Why?
Why Workman's Comp at all? Did doctors certify that JJ Jr.'s bipolar and depression were caused in the workplace?
...SSD pays a little ofver $700/month....
SSD is actually based on your income before “disability” and can be way over $700.00 monthly. There are deductions from every employment paycheck that goes toward potential disability payments. You are probably thinking of SSDI which is paid where a person had no or very little income before the “disability” and the recipient gets a gift of cash monthly. It’s not much.

Can I get temporary total disability, too?
He hasn’t put in even an hour of honest work in his useless life.
And the maximum WC payment in Illinois is about $76,000 per year, not $100K. Something doesn’t add up.
This cannot be true.
Thats SSI, SSDI is what he receives and they pay that based off of your contributions.
How can Jackson get SS disability? Do Federal employees pay Social Security deductions?
...Jackson is considered temporarily totally disabled....
That describes the mental condition of most, if not all liberals after the Presidents victory. Just not so sure if it is actually a reexisting condition or if it’s just temporary.
He made a fortune in 2013...

It appears shakedown is hardwired into Jr.’s genes.
