Thank you Wikileaks! Just 18 minutes after a new DNC chair was chosen, Wikileaks tweeted out a link to emails exposing Tom Perez for sabotaging Bernie Sanders during the 2016 campaign. Bernie Sanders supporters took to twitter to protest with the hashtag: #Demexit :

I have a dumb question. The reason that the wikileaks email shows that Perez helping Hillary was wrong was that DNC members are supposed to be “impartial?” We know that in fact they are not, but the DNC rules supposedly prohibit DNC members from actively working against a Dem candidate in the primaries?

I don’t get it. The big expose from Wikileaks is that Perez supported Hillary in the primary contests? So what? Everyone already knew that Perez was in Hillary’s camp, and Ellison was in Bernie’s camp. The Ellison supporters aren’t going to be happy that Perez won the contest for DNC Chair, but why would they be any more upset than they already are as a result of some Wikileaks emails?
