The infamous “Access Hollywood” tape — in which President Donald Trump bragged about grabbing women by the hoo-ha — was an inside job, leaked by an NBC News staffer on Billy Bush’s own “Today” show, multiple sources tell Page Six.
“The tape was leaked by the NBC News division, by somebody at the ‘Today’ show,” says one source. “NBC News knew for a while about the existence of the tape. Billy himself had told them about it. People in the news division became frustrated that ‘Access Hollywood’ was taking too long to air it and decided it had to come out.”
“Access” had been working on airing a sanitized version of the tape, which revealed Trump’s comments but protected Bush by editing out his. But the full tape, which was leaked to the Washington Post, featured Bush goading the president. The leak got Bush fired from “Today,” which was, according to the source, part of the plan.
“The leaked tape served a dual purpose: It helped get Bush out of the way — Matt Lauer didn’t like him and felt he was a liability — and NBC thought it would derail Trump,” says the source. “But all it did was crush Billy, and, ironically, his own network was behind it.”

When you don’t know you are miked you might say something that doesn’t sound too kosher. All Trump said was that people on tv get a lot of sex offers. Since that is true, no harm no foul. Except for a bunch of dumb people in Vagina hats who take everything verbatim.

Billy Carter admitted he was a paid lobbyist for Libya. He made three trips to Libya. It was on one of these trips that it was reported he whizzed on the tarmac near the landing gear. A grainy telephoto image was published at the time (pre-internet) which caused much water cooler commentary.
Whether or not he repeated a performance on hi home turf while squiring visiting Libyan officials is beyond my recall.

We have to thank the leaker for pulling the trigger early, it gave Trump a few weeks to recover.
The top brass was waiting for the most damaging moment, a week before election, so if it wasn’t for the leaker’s impatience we would not have Trump.

What he said, which any successful man knows is true, is that, proportional to your success, women, even married ones, will “let you do anything”.
That is unpleasant, and rude - but it’s God’s honest truth.

My comment was intended to compare today’s news of Matt Lauer getting canned for sexual assault after Matt’s “staff” made Trump’s private conversation public in order to accuse Trump of sexual assault.
And Billy Bush sacrificed himself to go along with the ruse? Yeah right.
