White House Chief Strategist Steve Bannon told attendees at the 2017 Conservative Political Action Conference Thursday that President Donald Trump is focused on fulfilling campaign promises like a man possessed.
Attendees at the most famous annual gathering of American conservatives were given political red meat in the nations capital. Mr. Bannon, flanked by White House Chief of Staff Reince Priebus, told a crowd that corporatist, globalist media figures would be opposed every day by Mr. Trump as he attempts to deliver on his campaign vows.
Hes laid out an agenda with those speeches, with the promises he made, and our job everyday is just to execute on that, Mr. Bannon said. And hes maniacally focused on that. If you think theyre going to give you your country back without a fight, you are sadly mistaken.
Mr. Bannon said that Mr. Trump is regularly approached by individuals who try and get him to waver, only for them to be rebuffed.
Every day in the Oval Office he tells Reince and [me], I committed this to the American people. I promised this when I ran, and Im going to deliver on this.(continued)

The discussion with Bannon and Priebus was excellent even though it seemed a little like a contest to see who could suck up to Trump the most.
God bless you, Mr President. I knew I was right to trust you.
Hussain odungo was maniacally focused on unmaking his adopted country.
HOORAY citizen-president. Stay focused.
HOORAY Trump team.
America’s finest.
Historic.
It’s called advocacy. It is particularly important when your enemies are prepared to turn the slightest perceived fissure into an earthquake of division.
>> And hes maniacally focused on that
Like a honey badger...
Right there with you bud.
Oh how it must feel today to have taken a pass on supporting Trump with all your might. (Not you)
That’s a great and important sound bite right now.
Well then.
He better keep these away from him.
“Jared Kushner, and his wife, Ivanka Trump, language critical of a global climate deal was struck from an executive order that Mr. Trump is planning to sign soon”
Somewhat excessive adverb with which to refer to Trump’s efforts, but perhaps it’s a sign of the times that one must resort to hyperbole to describe a politician who actually attempts to live up to his promises and pledges.
That may not even be true. I believe maybe 5% of what the media dishes out.
Of course the leftist commie media had a cow over it. Unbelievable...
When Donald Trump turned 18, his parents moved out.
He once deleted the recycling bin on every computer using Google by pointing his finger at it and saying ‘booya’.
He wears sunglasses so his eyes don’t hurt the Sun.
He doesn’t make wrong phone calls. You answered the wrong phone.
NYC tried changing 5th Avenue to ‘Donald Trump Boulevard’.
But a few days later they had to change it back.
You see, no one who crosses Donald Trump lived.
He wore a king cobra for a necktie for a while. But one day it accidentally bit him.
Four excruciatingly painful days later, it died.
I’ve heard folks described as being a maniac about a belief or something they were driven to achieve.
You’re right a better word could have been used. I think it drives home the point pretty hard that Trump is goal oriented to do for us what he said he would.
I like that at least.
LOL
What a hoot.
That’s the WSJ reporting isn’t it?
Excuse me, I’ll wait to see what the President puts out, not what the WSJ wants their readers to think is coming out.
LOL, good one.
I’ve been both an idiot and a maniac, but the former more in my own opinion than anyone else, hard to believe or not, and not for the reasons most would think.
