I’ve heard folks described as being a maniac about a belief or something they were driven to achieve.
You’re right a better word could have been used. I think it drives home the point pretty hard that Trump is goal oriented to do for us what he said he would.
I like that at least.

It's nothing more than possessing a laser focus. Everyday Trump wakes up and sets the plan for the day, which is working on unachieved objectives. Some who have not seen a goal oriented achiever before may describe the behavior as maniacal, but it's what it takes to get the job done.
