Crowds of people gathered on Wednesday night to protest against an off-duty cop who was caught on camera pulling and firing his gun as he scuffled with a 13-year-old outside his home in Anaheim, California.
The protests were sparked after a video that was filmed on Tuesday afternoon emerged showing the confrontation between the off-duty LAPD cop and a large gang of teens who he had apparently accused of walking on his lawn.
The confrontation ends with the officer pulling his gun out and firing a shot that did not hit anyone as the teens flee.
Before that, the officer was filmed struggling with one teen who he accused of threatening to shoot him, then scuffling with the entire group of teens outside his home. ok

I live in California. I keep telling people they are not dreamers. They’re little anchor, gang banger wannabe thugs.
They’re everywhere and have no respect for anyone or anything.
There are Quite a few MAJOR problems with this Story, and Yes I watched the Video.
1. He was NOT wearing his Magic Blue Costume nor Displaying a Shiny piece of Metal stating he had one, the Feral Thug teenagers had NO WAY of Knowing he owned such a Costume.
2. He LEFT the “Safety” of his Private Home to chase down these Kids when there was NO EMINENT DANGER to Him whatsoever.
3.He Physically Attacked and forced this Kid Against his Will in an effort to KIDNAP and FALSELY IMPRISON HIM., for all the Kid knew he was about to be RAPED and MURDERED by this CRAZY man, that is when His friends stepped in to Help.
4. The Crazed Individual who WAS NOT ON HIS PROPERTY then Pulled his Scary Looking Gun and ATTEMPTED TO MURDER A CHILD, Exhibiting a Felonious and Reckless Endangerment to Children.
I will Submit that these thug kids are just that, but you NEVER HAVE THE RIGHT to Chase Them Down once they have LEFT YOUR PROPERTY and the THREAT IS OVER, As A California Resident YOU HAVE A DUTY TO RETREAT and Call the Police.
If he DID NOT Actually OWN HIS OWN MAGIC BLUE COSTUME, He would have been Immediately Arrested and CHARGED with MULTIPLE FELONIES and would be facing 25 to LIFE IN PRISON for::
Assault With a Deadly Weapon
Reckless Endangerment involving a Firearm
Trespassing (HIS HOUSE WAS 2 DOORS DOWN)
Felony Child Endangerment
Attempted Murder
Attempted Kidnapping
Using a Firearm during the Commission of a VIOLENT FELONY!
This is what would happen to EVERY CITIZEN IN THIS STATE WITHOUT A MAGIC BLUE COSTUME.
Why do so many People have a fantasy belief in “SPECIAL RIGHTS FOR SPECIAL PEOPLE???
My Constitution says “We are All Created EQUAL” it also says we ALL Shall Enjoy “Equal Protection Under the Law”. NEITHER ARE PRESENT IN THIS CASE!

What if he had pulled the weapon before he was touched, then fired a warning shot into the ground? If illegal, why? His shot scattered the threat.

REGULAR CITIZENS are Prosecuted for this EVERY DAY IN CALIFORNIA.
The cop was tackled by a few of the “youths”. Situation looked like it was quickly getting out of hand. Should be assault charges for the “youths.”
To be fair, the kid probably doesn't know what his dad does for a living either.
The 13 year old kid will have the next 30 years in a California state prison to ponder his crime if stepping on the cop’s front lawn.
And as we all know, there is one thing the other inmates hate more than anything else, and that is a kid that walks on a cop’s lawn.
The other inmates are going to make this kid’s life in prison an absolute nightmare.
Unfortunately, it seems only a matter of time before one of these types of situations gets someone killed. There are just two diametrically opposed ideas of basic civil rights, the kids think they can stomp over anyone’s lawn and “you can’t touch a minor”, and the cop thinks that he has the right to defend his property and his person by lethal force if need be. Eventually, those two “thoughts” will collide violently.
“I really don’t think the kid’s father was a cop.”
Even a worse crime than impersonating a cop, is the crime of “Impersonating a Kid whose Dad is a Law Enforcement Officer.”
What is it with you and capitalization? So far, every entry that I've seen with your name on it looks like you've got a randomly-sticking Caps Lock key. When I read your stuff, the only thing I can picture is a wildly gesticulating crazy-eyed loon, randomly shouting and waving his arms around.
Again, far be it from me to be concerned about how your responses appear to other people, but it's distracting to read and takes away from whatever it may be that you're trying to say.

The dirty little secret of California is the type of police state they run in order to keep the 3ed worlders somewhat inline. If the left has decided to eat the police California is about be ripped to pieces by those 3ed worldser when the police stop doing their jobs.
He was asking for it by confronting the poor innocent wittle kiddies. Er, not so much. I still think they knew what they were doing and pushed it to provoke the property owner.
Department policy varies slightly in areas of California, but generally a police officer may unholster a lethal weapon when he perceives a possibly quickly executed threat to human life or great bodily injury, and he may point the weapon when he perceives that threat from a particular individual or location.
To deliberately discharge a lethal weapon the officer must perceive a movement or situation that indicates execution of threat. Unfortunately these rules and policy proscribe "warning shots" or deliberate shots to disarm, as the officer must fire to ELIMINATE the threat to human life.
By training and policy that is shooting to center of mass/chest in a pre determined pattern, if possible.
