Egypt's Antiquities Ministry announced this morning that a team of underwater archaeologists had discovered that remains of a large Egyptian army from the 14th century BC, at the bottom of the Gulf of Suez, 1.5 kilometers offshore from the modern city of Ras Gharib. The team was searching for the remains of ancient ships and artifacts related to Stone Age and Bronze Age trade in the Red Sea area, when they stumbled upon a gigantic mass of human bones darkened by age.

The scientists lead by Professor Abdel Muhammad Gader and associated with Cairo University's Faculty of Archaeology, have already recovered a total of more than 400 different skeletons, as well as hundreds of weapons and pieces of armor, also the remains of two war chariots, scattered over an area of approximately 200 square meters. They estimate that more than 5000 other bodies could be dispersed over a wider area, suggesting that an army of large size who have perished on the site.

A great deal of stuff is at the bottom of the Med and the Red Sea. Water levels have changed an awful lot since then.

Jumping to a conclusion that it was the Moses situation is quite a leap.

insinuating

As I've already stated, this argument is inane because we disagree upon very little. I have no idea why you have such a need for the seabed to be sand, it's not specified in scripture and it's not evident in anything you've posted.

Feel free to continue on but leave me out of it.

Moses is believed to have lived some time in a 200 year period between about 1400 BC and 1200 BC. About 3200 years ago. There is only one dig on land that evidences the Jews were in Egypt at all during the New Pharaonic Kingdom, which lasted from the 16th Century BC to the 11th Century BC.

No other evidence of the exodus has been found.

My point is that we live in a *very* destructive world. The dry sands of Egypt are very good at preserving archeological artifacts, but even there it is very hard to find more than little bits here and there.

Under sea water? Likely almost nothing more than a thousand years old. The Red Sea has plenty of oxygen, enough to support 1200 different species of fish. And where there is oxygen, there is bacterial decay.

Perhaps the most definitive evidence is an utter lack of any Egyptian ships under water. They had some pretty impressive ships, we know because in they stored ship sections in man made caves near the Red Sea, that still exist. And where there are large ships, there are shipwrecks.

Not a trace underwater, though. The Red Sea is littered with wrecks, but most of them are modern. The further back you go, the less there is to find, until at a particular point, nothing. Even when the Red Sea was a very busy shipping lane.

There are many examples of “doubters” in the Bible who were still people of faith.

As I stated earlier to another, I am not going to debate your doubt in my faith as a believer in this or any forum.

[[I have no idea why you have such a need for the seabed to be sand,]]

I have no ‘need for it’- the videos show sand- I see no evidence of a ‘smooth hard ridge’ or evidence that the bed was close enough to the surface for nature to cause the sea to part naturally, so that the people could walk on rock across the sea floor’- as someone suggested- You insinuated the floor had to be rock because a soft floor would have buried any artifacts- As we’ve seen- that is not a fact- many soft floor artifacts are on top or near top 1000’s of years later-

The bible tells me that there were walls of water o neither side, and that people walked across on dry land - God caused the strong winds to blow ‘all that night’ possibly indicating that the land of the sea floor would need to be dried out before Israel could cross- It was no ordinary wind either- a wind strong enough to cause walls of water o neither side would have likely been impossible to walk against- Yet Israel was able to make her way across- Many have suggested that nature could have caused ‘shallow waters’ to ‘reveal a land bridge’ that they could have walked across- taking God out of the equation altogether (but they are quick to add “But God got them there in time for it to happen- so there’s your miracle” you know, so as to meld ‘science’ and miracles together so as to appease the crazy religious right)

Those who state such a thing fail to grasp that that the water was high enough on either side that when God released it it completely covered the armies- in deep water- to drown them- this wasn’t an ankle deep ‘natural land bridge’ crossing that a stiff breeze, if given just the right conditions, could part naturally- Those making the claim wish to diminish the miracles of God and assign them to natural events-

[[not evident in anything you’ve posted.]]

Really? I saw plenty of evidence that it was-

It began as water, just as the word says.

This must be a fake website for archaeology. Another article says that “Jesus was a wonder-worker who could freely go in and out of Super-Saiyan-mode”

Really? Super Saiyan mode used in an article that I should take seriously? I think not. As for the Egyptian’s remains, that story is reportedly fake.

Its the same place, but not the same video.

It appears that some of the wheels may have been removed.

In Ron’s video he shows Pharoah’s personal 4 spoke chariot wheels, and it looks like they are now gone.

BTW, that bottom is not sandy.

Sand bottoms always have a wavy surface that looks kind of like a washboard, and I didn’t see any of that. There’s just a little aggregate here and there.

“God’s miracles still confirm to God’s physical laws of the universe...”

Of course then they wouldn’t be considered miracles! Like that whole “rising from the dead” thing. An insteresting thought I just had when you wrote “God’s physical laws”. I wonder if God has a “complete” set of laws (natural, supernatural, spiritual, etc.) and we are only allowed to see some of them. Or - that we have lost those gifts over time. Back in the New Testament and earlier there were all sorts of healing miracles going on by many people, although Jesus was the only one to have brought somebody back from the dead.

>> “But saying the Egyptians were unaware is where their narrative fails.” <<

Definitely, since Wyatt got all of the necessary permits to do his mission.

He also had re-erected the stone column Solomon had placed at the crossing point, which was laying on the beach when he found it.

No, you’re a world away from reality on that.

Go to patternsofevidence.com and pick up on reality, especially time wise.

As wonderful as it would be if this is true, it isn’t. Just look up Dr. Gader at the University of Cairo’s website. He doesn’t exist. This is the same person they had listed back in 2008-10. A moderator should pull this story as it is fake.
