Milo Yiannopoulos will be making his first on-camera comments to press regarding the recent controversy over statements Milo made during Joe Rogan and Drunken Peasants podcasts. Questions will be taken following a statement.
Precisely WHY he needed to be 'taken down'.
Agreed, this is a "take down" attempt on Milo. He was taking away to much of their support, being way to successful and showing them up for being extremely violent hypocrites.
Just to be clear I have, in the past, campaigned against homosexuality in all its forms. Part of doing so means finding out more in detail about the condition and to be honest you find out way more than you want to know. So I am not surprised by the way he discussed his own past abuse. I have read his explanation and he is clear he believes in the legal age of consent. This in the UK is 16 years old and he himself has exposed pedophiles, three of them. As he says how many have you?
Would I prefer is Milo managed to overcome his homosexuality, yes I would and I do believe that is possible. However this is not what is at stake just now. Milo at this time need our support and understanding. They, the enemy, disagree with Milo's POLITICS not his homosexuality.
This is not the time to stand around him in a circle, stones in hand, ready to throw the first stone.
He was using gallows humour by joking about the abuse he received made him better at ‘giving head’. He wasn’t advocating it. And yes, it is normal for people to be sexually attracted to physically developed teenagers who have been through puberty but haven’t reached the age of consented. It doesn’t mean it should be legal to indulge in that attraction and the fact he said that consent age was about right means he isn’t condoning either paedophilia or underage sex. The regressives are twisting what he has said, ignoring the fact he is using sick and edgy humour to cope with his abuse and are trying to destroy him. Apparently it’s working.

He used 13 as an arbitrary number. He could just have easily has said 14 or 17. The point he was making was that there is a difference between pedophilia and relationships with teens that understand what is happening. He has also numerous times condemned pedophilia and even helped to take a few down in the UK. This is a sad, scared group of establishment conservatives trying to take him down because his views are a threat to them. These are the types of people that kept the Republican party from winning anything and being viewed as the party of old white men.
I know very little about Milo. I’ve heard him, some, he was quite funny/entertaining. I don’t “follow” him.
I was hesitant to get on his band wagon because of his being an outspoken homo. Also his vulgarity is over the top.
I am not totally up on his current predicament, but I did watch the linked video.

I must say, the heterosexual interviewer was a far more disgusting individual than Milo. I have to say that the Milo in that video did not match the anti-Milo HYPE here on this thread.
I was not a big fan of Milo before. I’m not now, but I don’t see a “NEW” issue here. If you found him disgusting before, you still will. If you thought him funny and provocative before, you still will.

I agree with you. So much for the big tent the GOP has been proclaiming for years. The guy is brilliant and has chutzpah. He never said he was in favor of pedophilia — quite the opposite, actually. I will continue to support him.
He already had a campus visit with the topic being pizzagate, however he said he got a phone call the day of the talk and was told to wait.

He is giving a textbook definition of pedophilia, not recommending it or subscribing to it. He is not even suggesting he is attracted to 13 year olds. If anyone has listened to him, he is attracted to large black men.
He lives a very alternate lifestyle and not one I would wish on anyone. He is, however, a voice for many people and has very articulate arguments for Donald Trump’s policies. He has reached people the Republican party could never in a million years reach.
The current witch hunt being used against him should make it clear to any thinking person just how effective he is and how afraid the left is of him.

I listen to him alot as well. I am really disgusted by many on here who are so willing to throw him under the bus. It really is their comments that will turn so many younger folks away from voting republican.
He defends Christianity more boldly and more eloquently than many Christians can. Prayers for the LORD to comfort him and that Milo draws ever closer to saving faith. <3...

Thank you, you covered my points much more articulately than I can.
I read his Facebook post yesterday. He really did disavow pedophilia and pedophiles entirely. People on this thread who post emotionally without knowing what he is saying are just as wrong as the media screeching about Sweden or Muslim bans.
I am not pro gay in the slightest, but to throw milo under the bus for something he doesn’t actually support is vile in its own way.
The guy does go into academia and destroys the leftist idols, better than anyone I have seen. For that, we should be grateful. I hope he survives this firestorm, his campus tour was getting excellent results.

As I said, I’ve liked the guy, and still do. I like that he speaks so boldly and bravely and provocatively for many conservative principles. That is really cool.
But he is affirming man-boy relationships. The videos are out there. He plainly and clearly says that. And that’s not cool.
