WASHINGTON (AP) -- A senior Trump administration official was fired following criticism in a private speech of President Donald Trump's policies and his inner circle of advisers.
Craig Deare, whom Trump appointed a month ago to head the National Security Council's Western Hemisphere division, was on Friday escorted out of the Executive Office Building, where he worked in Washington.

The bone of contention seems to revolve around our policy towards Mexico. "Deare served as an Assistant Defense Attaché in Mexico City in the early 90s; as a Troop Commander of a Special Operations unit; and spent two years as a Country Director the Office of Interamerican Affairs in the Office of the Secretary of Defense, where he was responsible for crafting defense policy matters for Mexico."
Sounds like a case of someone who had gone native when it comes to Mexico. He has his blinders on when it comes to securing the border, deporting illegal aliens, making Mexico pay for the wall, and the disaster that is NAFTA. If he disagrees with the policy, he should not be on Trump's NSC. He should have resigned rather than publicly criticizing the boss.

He did pull some time in the Army in 1980 but the info is sketchy about it.

The good news is the bum apparently thought he was among comrades where he could speak freely but it turns out at least some of those ‘comrades’ are Trump supporters...
it sounds like this guy chose to insult trump. just a guess— career government service, wants to double dip with a guaranteed government pension and a cushy spot in a liberal think tank or mexifornian lobbying firm.
there must be dozens more just like him still in the swamp, waiting for the right moment to go off on trump. ugh.
