Offers a legal and historical context for reforming family law and legalizing plural marriage
Polygamous marriages are currently recognized in nearly fifty countries worldwide. Although polygamy is technically illegal in the United States, it is practiced by members of some religious communities and a growing number of other poly groups. In the radically changing and increasingly multicultural world in which we live, the time has come to define polygamous marriage and address its legal feasibilities.

The biggest obstacles, ofoucrse, being women's (in gemeral) inability to get along with one another and need for drama.
The second being the Donald Trump alphas of the world would get all the women, living little for regular, lesser so men.

Theft doesn’t want polygamy but polyamory (aka free sex).
Of course it’s coming. How do you think muzzies plan to multiply?
It will come after a prominent celebrity comes out as BI and gets its pic on the cover of People or some other fluff mag.
I agree with the honest pundit who pointed out that nothing has been more destructive to the institution of marriage in this country than the widespread acceptance of divorce among Americans who call themselves Christians.
And muslims and perverts will get the age of sex between adults and children lowered greatly.
Here's one for you. The entire concept of "consent" is a Judeo-Christian construct. And we know how the Left feels about those.
Then after this, no age limit so an old man can marry a 14 year old girl.

I disagree. There was a time when it was understood that the traditional family unit is the real cornerstone of American greatness.
Tax laws were crafted to encourage marriage and families.
Add to that legal issues of inheritance and the legal nature of a “community” and it can be seen why it is a governmental issue.
But that is all gone now. Let everyone draft whatever the hell kind of co-asset-sharing agreement they want.
And watch America go to hell in a handbasket.
And now you know, boys and girls, why the Bar Association votes Leftist ... because the chaos that the Left pushes and legislates creates more lawsuits and endless employment for lawyers.
Putting aside the morality, we taxpayers have to pay, literally, for their sins. Refugees with multiple wives claim their first wife and the rest of their wives and children are called extended family, and we get to pay for everyone! The Mormons sister wives have been living off welfare for years, as they are considered single moms.
Tell me where in the constitution does the federal government gain power over marriage?
I have been having an argument with myselves over this very matter. We are very divided over this.
Exactly...sharia compliance pregaming.
I might have agreed with you until that last one. Nobody should have to suffer that (except of course Bill Clinton).
In the modern era civil marriage can only be defined by whatever judges, pols, or the voting majority think it is at any one time. That’s it, that’s all civil marriage ever can be to the state, it doesn’t have any other way to define it. Pope Leo XIII warned about the danger civil authorities defining marriage 130+ years ago. It conditions people to just go along with whatever the state puts forth as marriage, because ‘it’s the law.’ First civil divorce and remarriage, then really easy civil divorce and remarriage, now ‘gay marriage,’ next comes some other impossibility approved by the civil authorities.

I’m still waiting for bestiality to be legalized so I can marry a dog that can pump out large litters. Think of the dependent deductions.
