President Donald Trump repeated an incorrect claim on Thursday that Hillary Clinton gave Russia 20 percent of the United States' uranium while serving as secretary of State.
The fact-checking website PolitiFact has determined that statement, which Trump first made on the campaign trail, is mostly false.

She just scammed millions of dollars from them before they were permitted to purchase the company that already owned the rights.
Various people associated with the deal contributed over $100 millon US dollars to the Clinton Foundation before the US government approved the sale of the mining assets.
The mining company “Uranium One” already owned the mining rights for an estimated 20% of US reserves.
Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton, sat on the board of the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (CFIUS) that approved the sale of the assets to Russia’s nuclear agency, Rosatom.
Like other Clinton scams and criminal acts she managed to cloud the actual transaction and make it less than a straight forward quid pro quo to give it a certain amount of deniability.
I am a retired uranium exploration geologist with experience in Wyoming’s rich Powder River Basin province and in South Texas.
Let me point out that he “20% of production” and the “20% of reserves” is probably not much different in some ways. That’s because what is being produced is ore from the reserves that is practical to produce. There is lots of uranium around, it’s more common than you might think. It’s just that almost all of it is found in very low grade disseminated deposits. What the Russians “bought” [’bought off’ might be a better term] from Hillary was 20% of the ‘good stuff.’

Twenty percent of uranium capacity vs twenty percent of existimg uranium...uhm...either could be charcterized as twenty percent of our uranuim...depending on if he meant our uranium capacity or our exiting uranium by saying “our uranium”.

amazing...back at the time this was initially reported, almost everybody and their brother was reporting 20% of U.S. uranium. Hardly anybody reported that it was a Canadian firm doing the mining.
Just recently, Russia sold huge amounts of uranium to Iran.
I wonder where it came from...

I recall the Wyoming mine produced about 30%. It was treason on the Clinton’s part.

Because technically the sun doesn’t rise. The Earth is circling the sun and only appears to rise from our prospective on earth.

The Bundy Ranch fracas is really about water rights and land development. Harry Reid and his merry band of investors have plans that require bankrupting the Bundys so they can pick up their land and water rights on the cheap.
They see a vast touristy recreational area where they can sell condos and 2nd vacay homes and that damn melon farm along the river is in the way.
But the sun actually only rises “in the east” two days of the year: Spring Equinox (nominally March 22) and the Fall Equinox (Sept 22)!
The rest of the year, it rises in the northeast (March 23 to Sept 21), or the southeast (Sept 23 to March 21).
So, Trump’s “lie” about “the sun rises in the east” is ... mostly false?
