The Yuba County Office of Emergency Services said on Facebook an evacuation has been for "all Yuba County on the valley floor."
The city of Marysville and Yuba County have been ordered to evacuate, the Marysville Police Department tweeted.

We’re in the Midwest and always fill up when down to a half tank. It’s a good precaution no matter where you live.

Its a waterfall right now and the resisting force of the hill holding back the lake is being eroded back toward the concrete top. Once enough resisting force has been removed the lake will have its way. That is, perhaps, the best description I've seen.

officials walk, no loss to them If said officials are responsible for people losing family members to their stupidity, anything can happen. People have killed for less.

Yes. Turbulent flow in the hole within the service spillway is a concern for the possibility of undercutting the concrete of the upper side. How likely is the scour erosion to backtrack toward the dam?
To: maggief
Maybe the troll needs to take another hiatus. Just sayin’.
This info IS Breaking News....MSM be ‘dam’d.

Not just higher ground. Living adjacent to a large disaster area becomes very difficult. Water, food, gasoline, phone service, etc., etc. becomes increasingly difficult to attain. Relief is weeks to months away before normal stocking levels of everyday supplies come back.

FR can ban me, IDGAS!
This was once a place of breaking news.
For two days, I posted links and images, which gained little traction.
Now some ‘humble’ thread gains tractions away from breaking news. Go figure ...
