More Than 100 Inauguration Day Protesters Indicted On Rioting Charges
A grand jury has indicted more than 100 Inauguration Day protesters on rioting charges in Washington, D.C. In total, 209 people have now been indicted.
The indictment, handed up D.C. Superior Court on Wednesday, charged 146 additional protesters with felony rioting meaning they face a fine of up to $25,000 and a maximum of 10 years in prison.
On Inauguration Day Jan. 20 230 people were arrested and charged with felony rioting. Twelve cases have been dismissed.
Local, state and federal law enforcement agencies provided 3,000 officers and were supported by 5,000 National Guard members and police officers in patrolling the streets during President Donald Trump's inauguration ceremony.
Nevertheless, protesters clashed with cops in various locations throughout the day. The final confrontation led to the arrests of more than 200 people near Franklin Square, about a mile and a half from Capitol Hill.
As a result, four businesses were vandalized and sustained "significant damage," demonstrators lighted a limousine on fire, and six police office suffered minor injuries after protesters set fires and threw rocks, bricks, trash cans and other small objects, according to Acting Police Chief Peter Newsham.

aol is still around?
HAHAHHAHHAH AND IT WAS OBAMA THAT MADE IT A FELONY TO RIOT WHEN THE SECRET SERVICE ARE ON SCENE.... Love how the left get boomeranged by him!!!!!!!!!!!
I went to the inauguration, you could tell that the LEO’s were ready to respond in the event there was trouble. You could tell they were very glad they were going to have a President that had their backs.
How many are in custody now?
Most of the people indicted will plea down for minimal jail time or probation while some others will take their chances with Washington D.C. juries.
But since most of them are Anarchists, I suspect they will demand a trial.
Do this a few time, and this will all stop.
If I were the Justice Department and it were at all possible, I would seek there to be a law that no rioter can hide their identity at these events.
Get these little maggots exposed to some serious time, and no way to hide their identity.
In fact, again if possible, if they arrived in the Black Pajamas with weapons like those poles, that right there should be an automatic infraction with a minimum sentence.
Soros may be able to pay fines and get them representation, but he’s not going to serve time in jail for them.
I have a list in a spreadsheet of the pending hearings, cases, lawyers of some i’m interested in. here is the spreadsheet
http://docdro.id/pPEt2fM in ods format and the link to the dc court web site. you can search by name for the case of any you might be interested in. I might pick a day and try to crash one day with a bunch of the hearings. sort by hearing date and location.

my guess is that they seem to be at least doing preliminary hearings on the 231 on felony riot charges.
most that i have checked were released and have preliminary hearings scheduled in the next few weeks. here is my list of the ones i’m tracking http://docdro.id/pPEt2fM
one that i have researched i think has

i was there as well so i started a database of the locals from philly. names, lawyers, hearing schedules. 231 total.

Most of them appear to be from outside of DC.
Being that they are charged with felonies, I guess that as a condition of their bond, they are not permitted to leave DC.
However, I bet quite a few of them will jump bond.
With many judges that's a sure fire way to I crease your jail time or you fine if they represent themselves. If not I'd like to know who is paying their legal fees.
no the ones i have looked at in the court documents state
1) Other conditions:: PR PSA BOND, Entry Date: 01/21/2017, Completion Date: , Amended Date:
DO NOT GET REARRESTED IN WASHINGTON D.C. which means according to avvo:
https://www.avvo.com/legal-answers/what-does-this-mean-release-status—pr-psa—867680.html
Personal Recognizance (PR) with Pretrial Services (PSA). This means that there was no money posted for the bond, but the defendant must be monitored by pretrial services. Pretrial services will verify the home address, phone number and employment. Many times they will require curfews, random drug testing, and occasional “check-ins” to be sure the defendant hasn’t left the area.
I’m not sure if Anarchists have pro bono legal aid.
they may be on their own or will be assigned a PD.
PR Bonds are not uncommon and probably appropriate in many of these cases.
Thank you for your tenacity and work.
Great step in the right direction.
