Supreme Court nominee Neil Gorsuch told a US senator Wednesday that President Donald Trump's tweets about the judiciary are "demoralizing" and "disheartening."
In a meeting with Connecticut Democratic Sen. Richard Blumenthal, Gorsuch, who's largely been silent since Trump nominated him last week, took exception to Trump calling a federal judge in Seattle a "so-called judge" after blocking the President's travel ban.

Consider it BS unless verified by a competent source.
i am sure this is another fake news report
(in addition, any judge who blantantly issues an Obviously unconstitutional order that also violates clear statutory law.........is at BEST a “socalled judge” -— he is either a complete ignoramus OR a traitor... or both. DJT was very gracious indeed with his remarks about tis ah*le “judge” (sic))
ANY second-year law student OR anyone who’s ever had a good poli sci course, even, knows how aggrevious was the socalled judge’s action
Was about to say I ma getting nervous since some Dems like him, and this, but then I saw it was CNN.
Nothing to see here then . I will move on.
EXACTLY
Possibly Blumenthal did provide this fake info to CNN, but that does not make it true.
But on the other hand, there are FReepers out there who believe Gorsuch is no better than Crazy Ginsberg. And there are signs like this and others that point to the “fact” that Gorsuch is a mistake.
This guy doesn’t seem like someone who would gossip with a liberal senator. He appeared too grateful to Trump to diss him behide his back with someone who is essentially his patron’s enemy.
I wouldn't be surprised if the full quote was 'disheartening ... but accurate'.
Disheartening, but our gutless Congress needs to start impeaching and removing activist judges.
I understand that it is a fine line, in that the Judicial branch needs to independent of the other branches - but some judges are clearly operating outside the boundaries of interpreting law - and instead are making law (pulling it from a dark place).
CNN is only posted on FR for its laughs, these days.
I wouldn’t believe Blumenthal if he said water is wet.
Fake news.
Not surprising actually, I can see how this would be true.
Abc is now reporting this. Therefore, it still has not been corroborated by a reliable second source.
........assuming arguendo that this report is not FAKE NEWS...............considering it’s source..........I must say in my opinion that Judges may think they are so damn neat and omnipotent that people should not criticize them but I for one think they are fair game just like the President, Senators, doctors, lawyers, pilots, truck drivers or anyone else!
Blumenthal and CNN, what could possibly go wrong?
If he did indeed say it, it’s part of the “game” to show that he’s independent.
From the article: "Ron Bonjean, who is leading communications for Gorsuch during the confirmation process, confirmed Gorsuch called Trump's tweet about the "so-called judge" "disheartening" and "demoralizing" in his conversation with Blumenthal."
Yeh, like the Senator and Gorsuch statements happened....
Fake news.
Gorsuch expressed a sentiment that the crisis between the Judicial and Executive branches was regrettable.
Democrats twisted and played it up as Gorsuch vs. Trump.
F’em.
Personally, I think the tweeting is below the office of the President. Tweeting is fine, but throwing a semi-tantrum is beneath him. He should give his phone to a staffer and tell them what to tweet and then the staffer cleans it up a little bit. (Wearing my fire suit.)
Ron Bonjean, who is leading communications for Gorsuch during the confirmation process, confirmed Gorsuch called Trump's tweet about the "so-called judge" "disheartening" and "demoralizing" in his conversation with Blumenthal.
He probably said how disheartening it is for federal judges to rule from their feelings instead of a simple reading of the law.
