As part of his budget, Malloy is proposing to increase the state portion of the pistol permit fee from $70 to $300. He also is proposing the cost of the initial 5-year pistol permit fee from $140 to $370.

Funny how a free ID to be able to vote is too much of a burden for folks to enjoy that “right” but no cost is too prohibitive for other Constitutional/God-given RIGHTS.
They wouldn’t want to go after all the graft and corruption in that liberal state now would ya?

Our Governor has no idea what to tax next! We who did not vote for him because we don’t live in the cities are so screwed. We vote every time and still lose when they keep the pols open till past the actual time, how can we win? I have been thinking if I lose my job what state should I go to? Instead of a Multi-Media Specialist, I should have become a welder!
B/c of the state deficit, it is shorting our town, funds; all this after town budgets were set in stone. Now our town manager says our taxes will go up 10% to cover the deficit.
Oh goody. Hope I’ll be somewhere else B4 the new tax bill comes.
