CNN has been caught handing a out question to a member of the audience instructing her what to ask Ted Cruz during Tuesday nights debate with Bernie Sanders about the future of Obamacare.
The Question that was read by Carol Hardaway:
"I have multiple sclerosis but could not afford insurance without the treatment or medications i need, i had problems with walking, with my speech, and my vision. When the affordable care act was passed I moved from our home state of Texas because they refused to expand Medicaid to Maryland and within 2 weeks I started receiving treatments through Medicaid and am now well enough to work as a substitute teacher.
Senator Cruz, can you promise me that you and the Republican leaders in congress will have actually have a replacement plan in place for people like me who depend on their Medicaid? In other words, I like my coverage, can I keep it?"
Below is a close up of the question that was asked to Senator Ted Cruz. The email is from a Gmal account as you can see from the top of the paper. The subject line reads Your Question, as the two photographs below show.

***Was he trying to upstage Trump?***
Yes, and it but him in the ass, again.
She got Medicaid AND started receiving treatments in 2 weeks after moving to another state? Complete and utter bs. And anyone in that audience or watching who’s ever applied knows that is a bold faced lie.
shame and pride are not operative factors in politics.
winning and losing are.
I think we might be at a turning point where in the future it will be common knowledge that our MSM and Democrat party was absolutely corrupt. Something we’ve known for a while.
I don’t think it’s any exaggeration that the MSM is the greatest threat to US. If you consider all the bad policies they’ve tried to force feed us that is liberal ideology, while vilifying conservative policies that have been proven to work. Economic and Social issues. Terrorist treatment.
That’s what you get when you give one party a pass on everything and are overly critical of the other.
Can you imagine what condition our country would be in if all the media had done their job over the past 40 years?

***There are several members of my family with health care issues***
Exactly. I have a serious medical condition and am between insurance coverage until our insurance kicks in at my husband’s new job. We could not afford the cobra payments or the health exchange so I am coming out of pocket for Dr. visits, labs, medication, which by the way, I take a large bag full of. And his new job brought us to Texas. So if I can buy my own medicine in Texas, why can’t she?
I was an eligibility worker for MediCal in California many years ago. We had 30 days from the date of application to work the case to grant or deny. If we needed other things that the person who applied didn’t supply that time was extended. Very few cases got worked in 30 days. If the person had absolutely no assets., etc. and supplied us with everything right from the top the case was easy.
I once worked 6 months on getting an older lady qualified because she had had assets that the daughters had sold off to pay for her care.
I’m probably like a lot of people. Once you lose a person, you never go back.
Network news, CNN, Yahoo.... I’m done, never coming back. And, when I find a way to boycott globalist companies, I’m going to be all over that too.
Donald Trump's nominee for Treasury Secretary put Cruz into office? This is huge. Have you gone to Alex Jones with this information?
I watched part of it too. Thought it was a very good format, although questions were slanted to Ocare. Hope they use the format more in the future - minimize the moderators.
Yes I’m a nurse who worked in hospice for years. As hard as the Social workers could they never got government assistance for anyone in 2 weeks.
No wonder her question was written by CNN. They don’t have a clue about how the real world works.
Hey, even with the cheating, Cruz rocked the house and really took it to old man Sanders.
“Agree completely. That was an absolute massacre; I haven’t seen such a bloodbath since Jack Kemp destroyed Patricia Schroeder back in the 80s. “
Agree completely. That was an absolute massacre; I haven’t seen such a bloodbath since the Falcons destroyed the Patriots in super bowl 51. Wait. What?
Never mind.
Excellent. Some are such hypocrites. Yep, the Right has their fair share of them even here on Free Republic. Blinded by their hate.
Are you sure CNN wasn't trying to help Cruz?
Uh, could someone please explain to me the evidence that CNN had anything to do with the email in this woman’s hand? Couldn’t it be an email from ANYONE that she brought in with her to read?
She obviously did not plan ahead.I served 30 years active Navy, so my MS medication is paid for by the wonderful taxpayers of this nation. It took my Neurologist at least 2 weeks the get the initial waiver to pay for the meds ((about $5000 a month). This is one benefit that has not been cut.
“Why on earth did Cruz agree t o participate in anything CNN was responsible for? Was he trying to upstage Trump?”
Cruz went to enemy territory and burned it to the ground in support of Trump, and you say this?
Well since the debate existed purely for entertainment purposed as neither is currently running for anything you can’t really say it’s rigged. Just part of the entertainment.
I bet CNN regrets it.
Atlanta hasn’t gotten burned this bad since Gen. Sherman came to town.
Personally, the one thing I'd like to see happen with health insurance is that it be disconnected from being something that one gets as a 'perk' with employment. It should be something you buy, like car or house insurance, and you have all your life. The fact that health insurance is something most people get through work is a historical accident that is a relic of the post-war boom, when companies were trying to entice new workers. It is this, more than anything that needs to change.
