If I had been asked that question 40 years ago, I would have been “A Citizen of the World”.

I speak enough of a number of languages to get in big trouble.

I could give directions to the American Embassy in Hebrew (with a discussion as to WHY it should be in Jerusalem!), make jokes in Spanish, and converse with Russian Emigres.

Of course, I am an entertainer, and at one time, could sing in 11 languages.

Now it’s “America First”.

I have learned from history that when America is strong and proud, the rest of the world is safer and more prosperous as well.

I can still remember the lyrics to “Moscow Nights” in Russian, and “Mary’s Boy Child” in Haitian Creole, but my Arabic is confined to three phrases: Hello, I feel sick, and a very nasty curse!

Dang, it’s ‘bout time for y’all to get a break! You’re probably all sick to death of the cold and snow by now.

Not been too bad here the past few days temp-wise. Just been cloudy and dreary. Had a few storms rumble through while I slept and got some much-needed rain. Watching a system moving into TN from KY now, wondering if it’s going to hold together or clobber us. It’s had a couple of tornado warnings with it.

I want that lil kitteh!! How precious! We have some cuties but none have done anything as cute as that.

True. My neighbor just spent an hour trying to get out of her parking space. I managed to get out yesterday in two tries because I ran out of food. The streets of Lynden were like ice, but the main streets were plowed. There are huge towers of ice and snow blocking parking spots in the Front Street commercial district.

I'm on a private road, so it was not plowed. But I ran the car as fast as I could in low gear, and I managed not to get stuck.

It's supposed to turn to rain tomorrow and warm up.

More eye surgery? She just had surgery not long ago. Easy to believe she’s tired of it!

Didn’t do much of anything here today. The ol’ back insisted I take it easy and I listened. LOL I need it feeling decent tomorrow so I can get through the grocery trip.
