Pick your winner, and then we can discuss as the game unfolds!
The way Gostkowski’s been kicking extra points lately, maybe it was a blessing in disguise to have to go for two.
CapTom America!
I feel asleep just after half time and missed the balance of what was turning out to be a boring game. Oh well, there’s replay somewhere out there.
“But Ryan really did run out of gas and didnt rise to the occasion.”
I would say that it was the Atlanta defense that ran out of gas, and no wonder: it was on the field for 93 snaps, which is the equivalent of a typical game-and-a-half.
Very good point. And that may indeed be the strategy for Brady marching slowly down the field! 93 snaps. Wow.
The more snaps, the more the defense gets tired. Excellent.
Plus the offense has trouble keeping its momentum.
And then, there’s psychological factor of Brady and his relentless success in getting points on the board.
Yes. I understand a lot of people simply hate him for his success and good fortune in life.
I understand the “fan” thing. I like it when someone says “Man, I hate when my team has to play him. I can’t stand him. But off the field, he seems okay to me.”
What cheating was going on last night? I hadn’t heard of any.
I never said there was cheating last night nor did I hear anyone else suggest that. You must have misread a comment or got me mixed up with someone else.
If you wrote this, do you have anything to buttress your claim? Just asking.
Thanks. Been doing this for years. All based on stats so I’m usually at least in the ballpark. Makes it fun for me.
I do this twice a year for playoffs (MLB & NFL) and I’ll put you on my ping list if you want.

I don't think so. With Brady and Belichick never count the Pats out. ;-)
That was the pick-six moment. And Brady was missing everyone on offense, he looked completely off. Incredible still.
Now, how about that judge in Washington?
I heard a rumor that Goodell swiped Brady’s game jersey. Pass it on.
Fake news.
Pick your winner...
Patriots win 34 to 28 in overtime. :)
I know. I was just kidding. It was fun reading through the comments from around that time. I was thinking, man, if at that time someone had told you the Pats would win by 6, in overtime, you never believe it. Too impossible.
Look, try not to take it personally, but you don’t come across well with your take on Brady. You can dislike him or envy him and nobody would look twice, but your approach does you a disservice.
You are on target with respect to athletes being role models because they are athletes, in the same way actors or politicians might be considered role models by some because of their fame and role.
It is true that there are athletes, politicians, and entertainers who actually are good role models, but it not because they are successful actors or politicians, but because they are quality men or women. So we agree on that.
I simply don’t think we have to exclude sports or any other kind of entertainment because of an important judicial pick or other government action.
I think people not only CAN pay attention to issues and enjoy entertainment, I think they HAVE to.
