A group of middle school students from the Parkway School District got into a fight on a school bus when they started arguing with one student who was wearing a "Make America Great Again" hat.
"As a parent it's so upsetting," said Christina Cortina, the mother of the 12-year old who was wearing the Trump hat, and who was suspended.
"I feel like my son was made an example of, it was a tricky situation, it was politically charged."
In cell phone video of the incident sent to News 4, the students are heard arguing over President Trump's proposed Mexican border wall. The situation quickly escalates to pushing and what looks likes some punches thrown.
A Parkway District spokesperson says the incident was investigated and all the students involved have faced "consequences."
The spokesperson adds the district is also working to sit the students down and reach an peaceful understanding.
Try some cursive, son.
EXCUSSSEEEE ME!
Where do 12-year old children get their political education?
I am absolutely certain that they have put down their electronic games and I-phones to hold discussions on Trump’s policies both before and after the November Elections.
If you believe that I have some fantastic waterfront property with unbelievable views of the ocean in Utah.
Part of the SS ?
Whoa....from our grade schools to our universities....OUR tax $$ are paying for this leftist indoctrination.
No wonder these trained Marxist’s are out in force, protesting/rioting. They’ve been groomed for this ‘action’, for years!
What City? What State?
See post number 4.
Outstanding! Thank you.
It is true. a kid can be punched and kicked, but if he defends himself, he will be suspended. It happened to me. Of course, the jerkoff deans would say, “it takes two to fight.”
Thank you.
“I wonder how many demons she is hosting?”
Or how many boyfriends she’s had at school?
That comment needs to be refined into signs and bumper stickers. It’s the perfect retort!
