Kellyanne Conway, the adviser to President Trump who coined the phrase alternative facts, is facing another firestorm of criticism and fact-checking after she falsely spoke of a Bowling Green massacre by Iraqi refugees. She acknowledged and corrected her mistake Friday morning on Twitter.
(snip)
Ms. Conway did not specify whether she meant an attack in Kentucky, Ohio or Downtown Manhattan, for that matter. But the closest circumstance to what she described occurred in Bowling Green, Ky., in late May 2011.
Two Iraqi citizens, Mohanad Shareef Hammadi and Waad Ramadan Alwan, were indicted on federal terrorism charges. According to a Justice Department news release from January 2013, the two men had attempted to send weapons and money to Al Qaeda in Iraq with the aim of killing American soldiers there.
Both defendants pleaded guilty to the federal charges, and Mr. Hammadi was sentenced to life in prison, while Mr. Alwan, whose fingerprints were found on an undetonated improvised explosive device in Iraq, was sentenced to 40 years in federal prison, with a life term of supervised release.
Assistant Attorney General Lisa Monaco said at the time, These two former Iraqi insurgents participated in terrorist activities overseas and attempted to continue providing material support to terrorists while they lived here in the United States. With todays sentences, both men are being held accountable....

THAT’S IT SHE’S FINISheD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
BURRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRNNNNNN HERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR
Now the press probably wants her to travel to all 57 states and apologize ...
The “sub” host on CBS This Morning did a whole story on this, she was definitely bleeding out of her eyes with her hatred - the media is simply awful.
:: BURRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRNNNNNN HERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR ::
Well, only if she floats.
Wow that’s quite a fuss about a one-word mistake. The Times didn’t squeal that loud when Susan Rice lied to five network Sunday news shows about a video causing the Benghazi attack when the entire story was a bald-faced lie to the media.
Susan Rice, Hillary Clinton and other assorted bureaucrats completely fabricated a cause for the killings of Americans in Benghazi and repeated that lie over and over again. The so-called “press” barely touched that story.
And I’m supposed to be outraged over Conway’s misstatement?
And how many DELIBERATE “errors” has the NYT printed over the past eight years???
BURRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRNNNNNN HERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR
"In case you missed it, this week, there was a tragedy in Kansas. Ten thousand people died an entire town destroyed," the Democratic presidential candidate said in a speech to 500 people packed into a sweltering Richmond art studio for a fundraiser.
It was actually 12 people.
But it's OK because Democrat.
With a corpseman and breathalyzer in the Scooby Van.
It’s the NYT. They are laser focused on a single mission now.
Fortunately, we have a President who will call them out on their garbage.
She needs to add a bit more sleep to her schedule. She has to maintain her AAA+ game to stay on top of this constant media onslaught.
Nope, because the media will take care of that, on and on, forever referring back to it. Kellyanne has been decimating the media, they grasp on to this like it's the holy grail of lies.
I missed the NY Times article on that massive error by Obama.
The smarmy gloating and giggles on MSNBC this morning at the gym over this was a case of vomitosis...topping it off, the new terms are, Trump’s actions are all, “unsettling”...
STOP TALKING TO THE LIBTARD MEDIA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
HOW CAN YOU NOT HAVE LEARNED THIS LESSON YET?
And in other news, on CNN last night Anderson Coooper had a guest who stated that it was a white supremacist who did the shooting at the Quebec City mosque the other day.... Cooper ended the segment without further comment or a challenge to the veracity of that claim.
I guess the precious little snowflakes will be demanding she resign the way they did when Obonzo talked about the U.S. being 57 states. Oh wait. They didn’t ask for Obonzo to resign.
