A former Defense Department official under the Obama administration has raised the specter of a military coup to remove President Donald Trump from power. In an editorial penned for Foreign Policy, senior Pentagon policy official Rosa Brooks publicly suggested a military insurrection against the Trump administration may be the only option to oust one of the most divisive presidents in American history. “Donald Trump’s first week as president has made it all too clear: Yes, he is as crazy as everyone feared,” Ms. Brooks wrote. “[One] possibility is one that until recently I would have said was unthinkable in the United States of America: a military coup, or at least a refusal by military leaders to obey certain orders.” For the first time in her career in public service, including three years as senior counselor to the Pentagon’s policy chief from 2009 to 2011, “I can imagine plausible scenarios in which senior military officials might simply tell the president: ‘No, sir. We’re not doing that.’” Ms. Brooks’ editorial comes as a recent poll by Public Policy Polling group found that 40 percent of registered voters support Mr. Trump’s impeachment.

She previously served as legal counsel to the Open Society Institute, Soros’ foundation. In 2009, Obama appointed her to a Pentagon advisory position. Knowing these two facts tells you all you need to know about this anarchist. This witch should not be serving in any governmental position in any administration. Only now are we learning how Obama made his appointments and it is frightening. We had a clue when his pick for Department of Education decided he would tell all parents who their children were going to shower with.

Rosa Brooks is quite wrong on this. If there was ever any chance of a military coup, it was when BHO was in the White House. He was quite unpopular with the soldiers. The military loves President Trump.

This is good news in a way, because she has announced her intentions ahead of a coup! Aren’t coups supposed to be secret in order to work?
They have another thing coming if they think the Marine Corps where my kids are will ever attempt this. Hell my oldest said last week after seeing the protests that give us marines a 24 hour leave and 500 of us and we will sort those protesters out and get them off the street in a fight .

They think because they were in charge once at some level and were successful at some level in subverting information dissemination to real America that all they have to do is wish and conjure up whatever preposterous horsesh!t they want and it will be done.
It takes rank and file to overcome, not just sycophantic plastic generals (whose days are numbered, BTW). The truth of the matter is that they NEVER once had the respect of the rank and file military, and they never will.
