Italy’s Muslim community signed a pact with the government on Wednesday pledging to “reject all forms of violence and terrorism”, with prayers in mosques to be held in Italian.
“It’s a very important document which concerns the present and future of our country through inter-religious dialogue, starting from a basic principle: We may have different religions… but we are all Italian,” said Interior Minister Marco Minniti.
He added: “One of the essential points is that all the signatories have committed to reject all forms of violence and terrorism.”
Only a handful of Italian residents are known to have joined jihadist groups abroad and the country is not seen as having a significant problem with homegrown Islamist militancy. But the case of suspected Berlin truck bomber Anis Amri, believed to have radicalized in a Sicilian jail, focused attention on the issue in December. …

I note that they included “violence” and not just “terrorism”.
I know that the OIC has long served legal notice, that the PC crowd continues to ignore, that “terrorism” is to be understood per Sharia law ... which means Jihad is excluded from being considered “terrorism”.
I wonder how the definition of “violence” is likewise mangled by the OIC?
Is it only violence without right, which would again exclude violence by Muslims against non-Muslims, or has this word been untouched yet?

They cannot contradict the “clear command” from “Allah”. And that entails fighting (with violence and other means) until the unbelievers submit and pay the jizyah.

good point. One would think people would learn form history, but alas, it seems not.

Islam is absolutely an inherently violent and aggressive military doctrine posing as religion; however, there is a long history of Muslims getting comfortable with good lives, with wanting more than Islam offers, yet consider themselves genuine Muslims ... it’s why the history of Islam is littered with true believers (what the PC crowd deems “militants”) sweeping in from the countryside to overpower the slackers who’ve gone soft.
In terms of the political, legal and intellectual aspects of modern Islam the militants have already largely succeeded in this without the flood of sword swinging hicks gunning for the native elites because those elites have tried to point them our way (and even export as many militants as they can so that they aren’t their problem).
(In the meantime it would be hard to find a big yacht out of Turkey listed for construction or sale that didn’t have a wet bar)
It isn’t uncommon at such times for the Muslims enjoying a non-jihadi good life to eventually try to push back; however, their or written doctrine stands against them in any efforts to resist even if that’s what they are really doing.

We exit the Milano Centrale train station (2016). Hundreds of north Africans inside and outside. Huge train station, probably 500 very dark skinned skinnies. All males in their twenties. No women or children.
All just loitering.
First attempted scare was by this dude half my size from north Africa. We are carrying luggage. Dude walks in front, yells in our faces “Aahhhhh!” to try to scare us. Our children have been through worse than that, so they weren’t scared. But it was quite culturally shocking to see that they are taking over MILAN by scaring people away.
Happened a few more times to us, different skinnies. We saw every visiting family getting yelled at.
Later, in McDonalds upstairs in the same station, we saw a skinny approach two old Italian women in their seats eating. He yelled “Haaaahhhh!” The women get up. He takes their seats.
Rome was clear. Not one skinny in the Romano Termini station (the big station). And didn’t really see them gathered anywhere in town. Maybe the Pope or the Rome city government keeps Rome clear?
The left never learns from history.
That’s why they don’t want to teach it.................
I’m fully convinced that Satan doesn’t have a problem with people being moral just so long as they are unholy and their morality of the flesh.
In a related story, the ‘Italian’ muslims asked in exchange for not going full jihadi only to be allowed to pray at St. Peters on alternate days, except during their holidays when they asked to be given use throughout. The Pope applauded the idea and the deal was signed.
