They’re hiring the wrong people. But another company is doing the right thing.
Liberty Alliance vice president Joe Wurzelbacher, who earned the moniker “Joe the Plumber” after his discussion on socialism with then-candidate Barack Obama during the 2008 presidential campaign, said that Starbucks has its priorities all wrong. Howard Schultz, the coffee giant’s CEO, announced plans to hire 10,000 refugees to work in its restaurants.
When 11,000 air traffic controllers called his bluff, President Reagan fired all of them–it’s called leadership
“I believe he should hire 10,000 veterans” instead of the refugees, Wurzelbacher said. “They’re the ones who made it possible for Starbucks to be where they’re a now.”
He found it ironic that Starbucks is only able to force the need for an additional 10,000 employees because we now have a business-friendly president in the White House.
“For people to be able to afford Mr. Starbucks’ overpriced coffee, they gotta have jobs,” Wurzelbacher said. “And that’s what President Donald Trump brings to the table, and that’s why Mr. Starbucks is able to hire 10,000 more employees.”

These refugees cannot be assimilated. Their cultures and ours would always be in conflict.
Not sure about your taste. I like Italian espressos, Lavazza is very good as is Illy, they can be had at some grocery store.
There is a roaster called Forty weight out of NY that is sold by a local shop it is also good.
I can’t join in any Starbucks boycott. I have never crossed the threshold of one of those places and plan to never co it. The whole idea of overpriced second rate coffee for yuppies and wannabes kind of turns me off.
I think it’s what’s called “virtue signaling” lately.He is doing it to attract more lefties and yuppies who want to virtuesignal by going in there and spending a lot of money on soy and milk.

Recently a Muslim guy was charged with deliberately spreading his feces on baked goods in a coffee shop.
My local Kroger's has expanded its coffee selection. Try it, and save money to boot!

One also wonders about the potential of some third-world diseases such as TB, hepatitis, and parasites. (One does not know if these are endemic to the Eastern Mediterranean countries, but these are valid questions for food handlers, are they not?)

WOW! Don’t get me started but there is all sorts of strict rules around touching women & also shaking their hands!
Some accidental touches on an American women’s part during normal work could be seen as a invitation for him to rape her!
If a boss accidentally touched a female Muslim she could be killed as it is prohibited!

Do the women follow the same rule? There’s one in a local Starbucks already.
