Pretty funny statement since Africans take other Africans as slaves in this modern age and takes in no refugees.
You and me both. They want our money, they want free access to our country, but they want Africa for Africans (and Chinese who use them as slave labor). The former Rhodesia has seen how well that works out, and South Africa is descending to the natural level of African countries.
The slaves were slaves but at least they were productive. The refugees aren’t refugees, they’re virulent, freeloading, passive aggressive, hijraing young males bringing the unassimiliating cultural conditions that led to the destruction of their home countries along with them into our country. We are not food for the devil. We do not provide sanctuary to animals with rabies. We will not be emotionally shamed into committing suicidal pacifism.
His ancestors sold fellow Africans to slave traders from all around the world. The US has long since freed the slaves but Africa hasn’t. Until there is no more slavery in Africa, he needs to shut up.
Congress ended the slave trade in 1808.
It is misleading to imply that the intent of the civil war was to end slavery. The intent of the civil war was to insure that Washington D.C. would control the economic power of the South, and nothing else.
It had the unintended consequence of ending slavery, but when it began, and for several years while it was being fought, the Union had no intention of ending slavery.

This person’s moronic statement ignores the fact that the second highest number of refugees entering USA in 2016 were Congolese. Trump has not changed anything wrt that.
Africans should be ashamed for having sold their own people to Arab slave traders in the first place.
Africa is the biggest slave holders. Always has been.

You’re welcome. People don’t realize just how small was the US involvement in the slave trade compared to everyone else.
Fair enough but not the practice of slavery, which is what I meant, and was the point I intended to make by linking to info on modern African slavery.
