Donald Trump's chief West Wing counselor opened up a new front in the White House's war on the press, saying Sunday that television networks should be firing analysts and pundits who misunderstood the president's rise to power and lied about him during the campaign season.
'Who's cleaning house? Which one is going to be the first network to get rid of these people who said things that just weren't true?' Conway said on 'Fox News Sunday.'

'If this were a real business, if the mainstream media were a thriving private sector business that actually turned a profit - which is not true of many of our newspapers - 20 percent of the people would be gone.'

And Conway attacked journalists - but not by name - for using their Twitter feeds to vent their anger in ways they would never do on the air or in print.
'That crap would never pass editorial muster in a newspaper or on your TV show and your network here. Nor should it,' she said.

Whatever other faults he had, his old man Mike Wallace did some pretty good investigative reporting. This acorn not only fell far from the tree, but it rolled downhill to the barnyard where it’s been recycled into a sniveling cow patty.
They don’t like Trump, and granted his approval ratings are “only” 57% if you believe their biased polls, but last I checked, only 6% of Americans trusted the news media.
Check that chip on your shoulder at the door, Chris, you’ve got a lot of work to do to clean up your own “profession” before you have the right to be offended.

ITEM....because if the Trump Administration uncovers that the DNC and the Clintons were directly working with any member of media and their writing staff during the 2016 Presidential election, they could be charged with violating Federal election laws.
