Leftist comedian and commentator Bill Maher dedicated a segment of his HBO program, “Real Time,” Friday night to the excoriation of his own party for its tendency to shame others into an apology.
He made his argument by citing a number of recent examples, including actor Chris Hemsworth’s mea culpa after being photographed dressed in Native American garb at a theme party.
“For f—‘s sake, you’re Thor,” Maher said. “Grow a pair.”

I know everyone’s going to come on here and say “A stopped clock is right twice a day,” but Bill Maher is at least a stopped clock. The rest of them are like sundials in a dark closet.
It’s the moments like this that Hannity respects the guy for, even though he’s usually just flat-out wrong and crazy
I like the analogy. Spot on.
Bill Maher’s mind is so corrupted, it’s not even a good thing when he agrees with you. All that does is corrupt the argument.

Well, it’s certainly a mistake to confuse Bill Maher with a comedian.
He made some good points but he’s far from being right. Just when you think he’s starting to get it he shows he’s far from it. I say good. The nastier they are the better.
The perpetually offended are led by the professionally offended.
Good job, Maher. He’s right.
Even if someone does something that is actually offensive, being offended by it is still your choice.
Last time I ever cared for Bill Maher it was when he was in that movie D.C. Cab. That was like 1983.

This was nothing more than a cathartic retreat from the gratuitous hostility he normally stands for. He’s a patronizing masochist.
I would have loved to be a fly on the wall when Bill Maher and Ann Coulter were dating. I bet there were a lot of “un pc” things flying around. And I don’t mean in a sexual connotation.
They may answer his call to stop eating each other, but you can bet the professionally offended will still go after us.
It was sweet watching him moan about getting beaten by a “mad man” and acknowledging there isn’t much liberals can do to stop Trump because they are ball less scum.
