>>Americans need to pay for what the globalist did to us.
Oh. That doesn’t sound like “Mexico’s gonna pay for the wall”.
>>I am old school
Blah blah blah. Yeah right Professor, as long as you’re not the one laying under the truck installing a Hecho’d En Mexico starter that costs $130 in stead of the present $100 - With the $30 coming out of the family budget that has to feed your kids and keep the pipes from freezing.
The Shrub clan had lots of “Ancestral” horse shyte in their jackwagon too.
NO SALE.
Yeah, cause they are used to politicians who lie through their teeth to get elected and then renege on every campaign promise they ever made.
Funding for the wall can come from the savings in welfare and food stamps, education and medical care the illegals will not be using as they are deported back home.
Speaking of strawberries, we were in Scottsdale, Arizona, over the Christmas holidays. First order of business was a trip to Frys for groceries. Bought the best strawberries weve had in a long time and they were labeled as being from California. Brought a whole bunch of them back to Texas with us. Far superior to the ones we get here which are from Mexico.
“Ah!....the strawberries,..that’s when I had them.”
Unquestionably true.
It also means that you then may not have that $6000 to pay for the wall.
Good on you, but what happened to Mexico paying for the wall?
Who are you and what have you done with the FReepers??!!??
Mexican financial transaction taxes seem like a much better idea.
You’re right. It makes them pay instead of us.
I’ll be in the minority here, but I think a low key meeting and a single statement on the tax would have been better than putting this whole thing in the spotlight.
But what do I know :)
Sadly, California will benefit from increased avocado sales, but I guess I can live with that.
Wait! Texas and Florida can get in on the avocado action, too!
*RELIEVED*
Under Trump semi-employed and low income workers can get better jobs. The point of returning American jobs escapes you.
“I would prefer a tax on remittances to mexico sent back by the mexicans here.
That IS the place to hit them but it’s impossible to do it. Even if we pass the necessary banking regs, what do you do about PayPal, bitcoin, money orders or mailing plain old cash. Plus keep in mind those remittances will be reduced accordingly with deportations.
>>PayPal
My PayPal requires CreditCard/Financial institution linkage. Wall tax would be applied to the electronic processing.
>>money orders
Processed like checks on redemption. Extract the Wall fee on the electronic backend when they cash it. The institutions cashing down South will either learn to tack on the fee or eat it.
>>bitcoin
That’s a bit more of a challenge.
It’d be dependent upon whatever the ability to identify and tax the “property” is:

Americans will pay the bill but Americans will also get the jobs, which is much better and worth the extra cost...so yes hit Mexico with 20 percent....maybe they will learn the cost of doing biz with drug cartels isn’t worth it now....in the era of Trump.
I rather pay 20 percent more knowing that America will replace some of those goods that no longer will come into the USA from cheap mexican labor....and America will produce it here.
Heck, most things produced here instead of in Mexico at first will cost more but with the use of American made robotic and such the prices will go down and the USA will have better hi tech higher paying jobs building bots and repairing them.
Here is the deal. A running shoe for example costs about $1-2 to make. Making it in China or even Mexico saves about $.50. An entry tariff of even a couple percent of the retail price will end the importation. Most retail products have similar cost structure.
Cell phones, I don’t know about. But, guaranteed, if they can be made by 12 year olds in Thailand, they can make them in Dayton, Ohio.
First there was the speed of Sound
then there was the speed of Light
now there is THE SPEED OF TRUMP
20 PERCENT TAX
TAX THE REMITTANCES
TAX Border crossings, Visas
KILL NAFTA....on and on an on.
Pretty soon Mejico might realize the would come out ahead by building the wall themselves.
VIVA TRUMP
giving HUGE incentives for companies to re-patriot their factories back to the United States.

yes!!!!!
We grow bigger and better avocados here in Florida. So we’ll just grow more. California grows plenty too.
Since the cartels have their hands in the Mexican avocado trade, good riddance.
Blood Avocados: The Dark Side of Your Guacamole
‘’’’’’’’’
Worth Repeating
We are already paying MORE that 20 percent extra...with the cost of crime the stress on education the drain on the economy ....we will save alot more that we will pay. 20 percent is a bargain and hey....just by 20 percent less from Mexico.....Making America Great Again won’t be easy.
Have you ever negotiated the price of a car? I don’t intend to be glib, but I am surely going to pay too much, if with my first offer, the other guy doesn’t wipe away a tear and talk about my taking food from his children’s mouths. Seems to me that what we have here is that my own sife is scared by the first offer worse than the other guy.
