Katie Rich, a writer for “Saturday Night Live,” has been suspended from her position at that show following a widely criticized post she made Friday on her personal Twitter account in which she mocked Barron Trump, the 10-year-old son of President Donald J. Trump.
She was suspended immediately after her tweet, and her suspension is indefinite, according to someone familiar with the plans at “S.N.L.,” who was not authorized by NBC to comment on personnel matters.
That tweet on Friday, during Mr. Trump’s inauguration ceremony, drew widespread condemnation, and Ms. Rich subsequently deleted the post and deactivated her Twitter account. Her name did not appear in the closing credits of “Saturday Night Live” in its broadcast on Saturday.

They wont fire her.

They’re just waiting for it to blow over. If she’s un-suspended, it should be brought up again.
Insufficient. How ‘bout permanently suspending the entire cast and crew of that sorry excuse for a ‘comedy’ show?

This is just the Executive Producers Covering their Asses, Mr Trump was a big player in Hollywood and Knows where a whole lot of bodies are buried. Hollywood has their Very Own Special Set of Accounting Rules which just might have to be looked at in depth.

Indefinite suspension may well mean fired. However, they should have OUTRIGHT fired her.
And if this were the child of a liberal president I’d feel the same way. It’s just wrong.
If Trump was half the “fascist” people like her claim, she’d already be dead or in a dungeon.
She’s probably being suspended with pay. There will be an investigation. They will see if she signed some kind of ethics code. And if it looks legally air tight they’ll fire her.
It would stupid for any company to fire a full time employee without looking into the liability. If she were a contractor no problem.
They will fire her, because the left hate each other. It is especially cutthroat to get on SNL as a writer or a performer. People waiting in the wings.
I’m sure she has very few people coming to her defense over there.
She really crossed a line.
Barron is a ten year old CHILD.
I’m really surprised Trump hasn’t addressed this. Maybe he needs time to cool off first.
Probably the best one could expect, given the present mood of the left.

Lorne will not fire her unless it impacts him.
She is a protected class,so he has to be careful. If he could face negatives, that wont matter and wont matter because hr can make anything go their way, but now this is what the higher ups are examining, if anything can touch them.
