An extraordinary first half-hour of Morning Joe today. The thesis was that President Trump had gotten off on a seriously bad foot by failing to look back at history in his inauguration speech, sending a first and ungracious tweet about the Womens Marches, sending Sean Spicer out to berate the press over crowd-size reporting, and above all for a self-referential, boastful, angry speech, referencing crowd size, given while standing in front of the wall of fallen heroes at the CIA.
And the message, delivered repeatedly and in the starkest terms, by Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski, was that those aides who abetted President Trump, who counseled him to adopt a combative tone, should be fired and leave immediately. View the video to see the myriad ways in which Joe and Mika pummeled the presidential aides who did not advise President Trump to moderate his remarks.

Boom. You got it. The more people who are upset with Spicer the better. He clearly hit a nerve with a lot of people beyond the MSM.
Not only did they insult us, they lied again and got caught. Trump threw a great big spanner in their spokes
They will be called out on ever single one of their damn lies—big and small. The marker is now in place.
The suggestion that Trump should moderate his tone is pure assininity. Why should he? Because then the media will suddenly start being nice to him? Never gonna happen.
They’re now attacking his ten year old child. There is no bottom too low for these creatures.
This is full on war. Luckily, Trump understands that. Those with delicate sensibilities need to step aside and let the grown ups handle it.
The only upside is while the MSM are spending hours chortling to themselves about how Sean Spicer and Trump are now "proven" liars, Trump is busy writing the executive orders that will wipe Obama's entire misbegotten world view off the planet.
OK then; I guess for the 20th time this past year and a half, he's finally, yes, really, finally, DONE IT THIS TIME; IT'S OVER.
Agree with you. Liberal media are trying to portray Trump government as an unpopular, minority government.
Dinner at home, and the family had a guest.
The guest starts off by telling everyone that the dinner rolls taste like sh!t. The father ignores him.
The guest then tells everyone that the mashed potatoes taste like sh!t. The father ignores him.
The guest then reaches for the father's steak. The father reacts by grabbing his steak knife and stabbing down on the guy's hand -- nailing it in place to the table.
That's the end of the story. Nobody gave a sh!t about the guest, either.
How these two highly-paid misfits are the prominent faces of a cable network boggles the mind.
To think that American sponsors finance these MSNBC radicals and to think that some Americans regularly tune in to this travesty of a network is indicative of the sickness and rot infecting a substantial portion of our society and culture.
Our work is cut out for us...but I know one thing....leftist sickos like Joseph Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski will not prevail if we stick to our guns with dedication, creativity and energy.

Totally disagree.
GW Bush’s presidency was totally, 100% undermined by his strategy of not responding to attacks.
If you’re hit, you must hit back.
It’s better if you hit back with a knockout punch, but even a jab is better than standing there allowing yourself to be pummeled.
But Joe’s anti-Trump combativeness is fine.
As long as he’s hiding behind Mika’s skirt, that is.
I would have been perfectly happy to see him take out a flamethrower and use it on everyone on the stage at those debates last fall. His infamous "You'd be in jail!" statement to Hillary Clinton is the mildest thing I ever would have said in that scenario,
I just want him to use that flamethrower in cases where it really does matter.
I like this kind of “new tone”, we saw how well the obsequious approach of GWB was received.
There’s a new sheriff in town.
Suck it up leftys.
Only to a liberal was Trump’s speech bellicose and dark.
Only to rattlesnake is a roadrunner treacherous.
Only to a snowflake is 33 degrees too hot.
Bush’s presidency was totally undermined by his own political blunders.
Yup, the guys that lost should always tell the guy who won what he should be doing.....
Yeah...The loser and the wimp....
If youre hit, you must hit back.
But the complementary strategy which also needs to be executed is bringing in a lot more members of the media, specifically the conservative, respectful media. The left wing media haters don’t own their seats in the White House press room, and other reporters with competing perspectives must be included. Disgusting partisans like Andrea Mitchell and Jim Acosta should be completely ignored, shrouded as if they are dead.
One of which — the major of which — was allowing himself to be punched at will.
Ok, the lines are drawn, and Morning Joe has no relevancy as ValJar is no longer in power. The Trump hate on MSNBC may help their minuscule ratings temporarily, but 24/7 of anti-Trump isn't a very good strategy to garner ratings.
I'm loving the way he dealt with John Lewis. If it was one of the RINOS who'd made the comment, they'd have already got down on their knees and apologized after the outcry from the libs. It's refreshing to have a President say something, and stand by what they say. I hope the Dems realize this is not a guy who apologizes for speaking the truth.
No, it wasn’t. Bush’s presidency failed because he couldn’t even defend the indefensible anymore. He will go down as one of the worst presidents in modern times, and he did that all on his own without any help from the media.
I tend to agree with you.
If the team truly thought it valuable to illustrate the media bias they could have done a very effective show and tell.
Over here, the photos used by msm, showing the sparsely filled mall. Over there photos showing the whole timeline, including the ones from msm and how early in the day they were taken....then the growing number of people as time went on until the mall was filled.
No spokesmen in the briefing room. Just the enlarged photos on stands, clearly marked as to time of day.
