You can hear the entirety of FDR’s inaugural address in 1933 on YouTube. It was issued on phonograph records, as well as seen in newsreels. The familiar line about fear itself comes very early. After about 15 minutes, the Fascism has become totally clear. The crowd is barely applauding. It’s really shocking, especially if you have grown up with the typical pro-FDR propaganda.

The proper, rational answer to the question, “Are you a natural-born citizen?” is to respond with, first, the definition of the term natural-born citizen as it was understood by the framers and ratifiers.
Then, one would provide the facts which show that one conforms to the definition of natural born citizen.
Cruz never did that.
Instead, he said, This is a matter of settled law. This is sleaze. This is a distraction. Now I’m getting back to the issues that really matter to the American people. Everything but the little blue dress.
As far as I am concerned, this sleazy, evasive, meaningless answer was a public confession by Cruz that he is not a natural-born citizen, and that he is ineligible to be President.
The same goes for Jindal, Rubio, and George P. Bush.
