Donald Trump might have violated US law on his first full day as President of the United States.
Trump posted to both his personal account and the official @POTUS account throughout the day but deleted one particular tweet from his personal account - a potential violation of the Presidential Records Act.
On Saturday morning, he tweeted: 'I am honered to serve you, the great American People, as your 45th President of the United States!'
Thousands poked fun at his incorrect spelling of the word 'honored' and within minutes the tweet was deleted and a new one went up with the correct 'honored.'

Bozo made up law out of thin air, gave guns to gangsters so that they would use them in crime, Hillary sold the foreign policy of the US...and Trump deleted a tweet.
This is Hillarious. Every democratic twit in congress will be looking to impeach because Trump mosspelled a word. You can’t make this shit up.
“I have to admit that I have torn off mattress and pillow tags.”
And you are still a free man?
Oh FO.
The government constantly corrects records online.
If this is the biggest nit they can pick, they are on pretty shaky ground already. It is one thing to be willing to criticize power, but to get hypercritical for grammatical errors, is to recall that Ralph Waldo Emerson admonished us, that “A foolish consistency is the hobgoblin of little minds, adored by little statesmen and philosophers and divines.”
I do not remember if they ever released it. I think they decided it was classified but I am not sure on that.
Definitely grounds for impeachment! :)
Forrest Hanson @ Daily Mail needs a life.
Did he use a cloth to wipe it clean?
To the elites being a Republican is a criminal offense ...
There is nothing at all wrong with elected officials having separate private and public e-mail accounts, twitter accounts or bank accounts.
The problem is when they do like Hillary and run everything through their private account.
Likewise 18 U.S. Code § 1519 on destruction of government records relates to " any matter within the jurisdiction of any department or agency of the United States"
Generally departments and agencies do not refer to the office of the President, which is constitutionally a coequal branch of government.
He may have removed the Tweet, but the record is NOT deleted, I just read it in this post.
Hillary was the head of an agency - Secretary of State. Trump is not. He is the President.
It is offensive to use the word honor around traitors.
:-)
Don’t rat me out.
Lol, pathetic.
Not one person in 50 million knows what it means.
I have to admit that I have torn off mattress and pillow tags......You heathen!! Remember when there was no “Controlling legal authority”?
