Donald Trump might have violated US law on his first full day as President of the United States.
Trump posted to both his personal account and the official @POTUS account throughout the day but deleted one particular tweet from his personal account - a potential violation of the Presidential Records Act.
On Saturday morning, he tweeted: 'I am honered to serve you, the great American People, as your 45th President of the United States!'
Thousands poked fun at his incorrect spelling of the word 'honored' and within minutes the tweet was deleted and a new one went up with the correct 'honored.'

Oh this is rich! The dems are against deleting things now.
That’s IT. He’ll never be President now.
Jail to the chief!
impeachable offense!!
Remember how viciously the went after Nobama for using an alias to email Hillary’s illegal server?
Correcting a misspelled word is BREAKING THE LAW. Deleting an entire hard drive is UNFORTUNATE. Go figure.
There is no way that President Trump misspelled “honored.”
They are simply making all of this stuff up.
Honestly, I don’t think I’ve ever spelled the word “honored” either. Not a word that comes up a lot on the written page. This is all they have on President Trump? Good luck with that. Maxine Waters can start those impeachment proceedings now.
IMPEACH NOW!
That interpretation of law would work on the planet screwhead. Then again, these days....
More fake news. I wouldn’t believe the MSMLSD if they said the sun was on fire.
The people are insane with disappointment in our victory.
Did he scrub it with Bleachbit? just deleting it doesn’t make it go away.
just stop. its getting silly.
He’ll drop out within 24 hours.
Oh wait...
No reasonable prosecutor would take the case.
C’mon now - correcting a tweet isn’t the same as deleting an official record.
Nothing of substance was changed. So libs want to impeach Trump over grammatical mistakes now?
Hilarious!
“I wouldnt believe the MSMLSD if they said the sun was on fire.”
Uh, never mind!
Seriously, he does need to be a little more serious about his records and record retention regulations. He should not be given a pass on these regulations that have been harshly enforced for lesser beings.
I have to admit that I have torn off mattress and pillow tags.
