WASHINGTON — President Trump won’t be releasing any of his tax records now that he’s in the Oval Office.
“The White House response is that he’s not going to release his tax returns,” Kellyanne Conway, a top White House adviser, said on ABC’s “This Week.”
“We litigated this all through the election. People didn’t care. They voted for him, and let me make this very clear: most Americans are very focused on what their tax returns will look like while President Trump is in office, not what his look like.”

Honestly, you do not even want to think about seeing them. 17,000 pages of depreciation schedules on every little bit of tangible property - like the sound and light system in the ball room of Mar a Lago or the upgraded navigation system on the Trump 757? What do people think they are going to find?
A few years ago I got a letter from a neighboring state's tax department.It said I owed almost $23K in income taxes,interest and penalties.I panicked and hired a lawyer.After examination it was clear that,as the result of an oversight on my part,I did owe tax,interest *and* penalty.The sum? $78 total.When it was over I owed the lawyer $2,000.
Ten bucks says that 99.99% of the *tax attorneys* of this nation couldn't figure out his returns.The only thing that releasing the returns would do is give ammo to the likes of Rosie O'Donuts and Stephie Stefanopolous.
If the IRS ever files charges against him then it's newsworthy.Otherwise,it's a non-story.

Obama did’t release his education records! And I won’t say anything about his birth certificate. Not a word.
I generally approve of them releasing their tax returns.
I also believe that there should be some sort of limit to how much personal or proprietary information you release.
College records, criminal investigations and results, birth certificates, other information that reveals your inner workings, fine.
Trumps financials are so complex that the revealing of them not only compromises his privacy, but the privacy of every person he deals with.
Our security agencies probably have the information. If there’s anything in there that needs to be known, it should be revealed. The whole thing, I’m not convinced...

If the tax returns were not in perfect order, you can bet that the IRS would have gleefully made an example of him like they did with Leona Helmsley and others. If they passed muster with the IRS, no need for anybody else to see them.
With very little honest media in this country, I wouldn’t release then either.
President Trump, in his own inimitable and brilliant way, rope-a-doped his attackers dying to see his tax returns so that they could go after him endlessly during the campaign, until he achieved his goal of the Presidency. He has that now, his attackers no longer can use his tax returns as a weapon; the President under law, was never required to release his tax returns, he was required to file a financial disclosure document, and that he did. That’s it, end of subject.
Take that, you vicious jackals in the MSM along with your masters, the Dems. You have lost on all fronts, and will continue to do so. We have a President who will fight you all back tooth and tong, any time you lie, delude, commit the sin of omission, twist words, using all of your usual underhanded techniques, and he will attack you every time you try to do it. Game, set, match.
Imagine my surprise. He should have just said so from the very start. Nothing requires that he do so.

Be aware that the Clintons submitted revised tax returns in 2016 of the Clinton Foundation for the five year period of 2010-2015.
