"That's what you guys should be writing and covering," new White House press secretary Sean Spicer angrily lectured reporters on Saturday during his first remarks from the podium of the press briefing room.
He was referring to the delay in Senate confirmation for President Donald Trump's pick to lead the CIA, Congressman Mike Pompeo, but the comment came after a long digression about how many people had shown up to watch Trump be sworn in as president.
"This was the largest audience to ever witness an inauguration, period," Spicer said, contradicting all available data.
Aerial photos have indicated that former president Barack Obama's first inauguration attracted a much larger crowd. Nielsen ratings show that Obama also had a bigger television audience.
Spicer said, without any evidence, that some photos were "intentionally framed" to downplay Trump's crowd.

Actually, I wouldn’t dispute that there were more people at Barry O’s swearing in... DC is 90% African American and they were probably handing out free cell phones.

Now, I’m not sure if the streaming counts toward ratings or not, but I knew something was strange about that over head show with the back of the the crowd empty. They’ll lose more seats in 2018 and still have their heads up their asses wondering what happened. You put out fake polls, you put out photos of an event that was earlier in the day before it started all to set a narrative that ‘this man is not popular’ and then when elections occur you all keep losing. You all play mind games with YOURSELVES.
The problem is that Trump supporters do not leave trash behind, and some of them pickup any that they see so once they have left all that proves they were there are the pictures like this one.
So the "protesters" found a good clean area the following day... Of course they felt obligated to leave it looking like a garbage dump in typical liberal tradition. They love the earth so much that they want to force the rest of us to clean up after them.
And travel across many states. DC is leftwing, including all those federal employees, northern VA, Baltimore, Philly, NYC, NJ, Pittsburgh. DC is surrounded by leftist big cities and universities with ONE train ride away for a few hours to DC. Trump supporters are scattered more all over the country. Trump comes to their town, we see how many people show to his rallies. We also see who shows to the voting booth.
And THIS is what they care about?

And besides. WHO CARES??? “I won”
Why don’t we invite Pravda and The People’s Daily to these briefings? Because they are enemies and don’t report fairly or accurately. So the solution is to stop inviting CNN and other fake news organizations to the press briefing room for briefings. Same with news conferences. Bar them from attending. No one has a right to attend.

At one point on Friday CSpan showed that photo of small crowds and commented, never mentioning it was from hours earlier. I believe it was during the luncheon.
I saw him today on CSPAN, He spoke of this in his address to CIA personnel...referring to the media as "the most dishonest people on the planet."
The CIA cheered.
Actually, I believe they have a much better track record for telling the truth than the RATagandists.

Yes they did. Numerous times, including when Trump asserted they had all secretly voted for him, and a 5-minute ovation when he concluded his remarks.
It was very heartening.
It’s going to be a long time until someone is able to draw the crowds that the first black president did. I don’t think even the first woman president will be able to match that, unless she’s a black woman. The only point that should’ve been mentioned was that the news media was more interested in the people who weren’t there than in the people who were.

This is more of Trump distracting the media from the actual important stuff he’s upto. Trump kept them off balance the same way the entire campaign. We should play along with him.
EXACTLY. With Obozo, it is in a city that is 98% democrat, full of federal workers who had the day off from work and all they had to do was jump on the metro. Given all of that, Trumps numbers were impressive.

I have a Facebook friend who was there and he posted that protesters had completely blocked access points.
