Fox showed a few clips of Trump at the CIA yesterday. I believe they said he got a 5min standing ovation at the end.

So very thankful to be able to turn on puter early this morning and be able to join the best darn thread and the bestest peeps in the whole wide world.
Still peeling myself down off the ceiling after the last two days of enjoyment, the early morning prayer service, the pomp and circumstance of the swearing in, Pres. Trumps speech directly to us, we the people, the luncheon where he was magnanimous to his foe, the parade, especially the military and law enforcement, the youth participating in a memory of a lifetime, the evening balls, POTUS singing along to “My Way”, and the gowns, stunning. Day 2, the multi-faith church service, learning that our President was at the WH working for us, his visiting the CIA and getting a rousing standing ovation, Sean Spicers calling out the lying media, I was applauding and laughing, the LSM is in full meltdown that he would do such a thing, message to lying fakes, GET USED TO IT!!.
This has been the most carefully followed and watched election and Inauguration of my lifetime for me.
Now the hard work begins and I KNOW he will do what he said he would do.

I don’t know at what point Bill was oogling, but I saw a pic of Tiffany looking over in Bill’s direction, and she had a look of disgust on her face. Ivanka was also in the pic and looked like she was just arriving to her spot. Don’t know if they were at the same time, but the two together would make a fun meme!!!

I recall President Trump later on, the next day IIRC, saying (paraphrasing) that the good Lord had held off the rain but then later it started.
This part of his inaugural address stands out; when he was talking about the military and LEOs protecting the nation:
“...We will be protected by the great men and women of our military and law enforcement and, most importantly, we are protected by God. ...”
When he got to the “and” part, his voice changed to a stronger tone, and emphasized the rest of the sentence.
Are we back? I am almost afraid to touch anything!

I’m happy our long nightmare is over. As Friday went on a inner peace started to come over me. The 8 yrs of anger and frustration are over.

Iirc it was a Native American blessing to remove evil spirits before the “godly men” came into the room
I think I liked Ivanka’s the best, but I loved Tiffany’s look too, with the mermaid dress and the side-swept hair. Struck me as a retro-glam look.
Melania’s was ok; think it would have been better without the belt and maybe the ruffle going from the waist.
WORST thing I saw all day was Michelle; even I would have to work hard to look that dowdy!!
