George H.W. Bush was just admitted to intensive care unit with pneumonia and his wife, Barbara, was also admitted. H.W.'s office says he's in stable condition, but as a precaution doctors performed some sort of procedure to clear his airway. He received anesthesia and was moved into the intensive care unit. H.W.'s resting comfortably where he will remain, at least for the short term. Meanwhile, Barbara Bush was also admitted to the Houston hospital Wednesday morning after experiencing what H.W.'s office says is fatigue and coughing. Story developing ...
GHW Bush flew torpedo bombers when he was just 18. That took big brass ones.
Got shot down too. That would fill my breeches.
Those kids had the adventure of adventures.
Yes, a timely reminder to be careful what we say -and how we say it.
Have many memories of the Walkers and Bushes. George used to come into the Post Office, stick his head in the window and holler,”anyone need tickets to the Yankees Game?” as if we could just hop in our car and head to New York!!! but the thought was there. Mr Walker always wanted one of my co-workers to play partner with him at golf as the co-worker was a much better player than George and they could usually eke out a win. This co-worker was something of a rogue. Unkempt, not very good hygiene with usually several beers under his belt. I got quite a kick, imagining him in a foursome with the Walker crowd.
May she rest in peace. I would not wish upon anyone the pain she went through after her Husband was shot and incapacitated by a deranged Leftist.
That being said, I am glad that she died knowing that her quest to eviscerate the Rights of every Sovereign Freedom loving American ended in failure. (except for those of us trapped behind Enemy lines in the Blue States)
All yall ,
Ping to George H. W. and Barbara Bush both in hospital.

Thanks!
HW & Barbara were at the Elite 8 game in Houston two years ago, Gonzaga vs. Duke. They got a standing O from the crowd, they were deserving of that gesture.
Heartfelt prayers for their full recovery.
You say that like it's a bad thing ;-)
It is not age that makes my determination.....comirbid illnesses, diseases, and conditions do. HW is wheel chair bound. He is starting to go through the typical set of symptoms that cascade
“This is going to give 43 an out.
Sorry, George W. will not be able to attend the inauguration, due to not wanting to leave his failing parents.....”
Wrong 43 is attending the inauguration.
These are wonderful stories.
He had asked if I played golf, I said poorly and but he wanted me to play with him the next day, but I had to fly out. We had a couple of interesting conversations - we both had been college athletes and had served in uniform but many many decades a part.
As I wrote before, they are nice people. HW was not a great president.
Read on another site that he was intubated.
.
Unfortunate that his “doctors” don’t know about Carvacrol (oregano oil).
All that power and money yet still stuck with the quacks.

And completely devoted to killing unborn babies!

Do you like to kill babies too?

Could be a cold/virus/bug that they both have too. His pneumonia is particularly worrisome though, especially given the Parkinson’s.
