The University of California, Santa Cruz is in the midst of a week-long Peoples Inauguration to protest Donald Trumps election, which deeply troubled administrators at the time.
In a letter recently obtained by Campus Reform, the provost of Oakes College (one of ten academic colleges at UCSC) lamented the election of a person who has been overtly and openly racist, sexist, anti-immigrant, anti-Muslim, ableist, cis-sexist, xenophobic, and much more while on the campaign trail.

Absolutely no student loan forgiveness for those snowflakes.
The people running CA education system and this state government are national embarrassments.
It is totally beyond them that the seat of the power transfer and the end of their federally supported horsesh!t is occurring in Washington DC in less than two days.
Their complaints, protests and bleats sited where they are mean about as much as their votes did on November 8, even with the millions of illegal Mexicans they allowed to vote.
Deal with it buttercups. You will reap what you sowed.
Who cares what the vegan Banana Slug lovers at this Snowflake faux university do.
California is a national embarrassment...
Left still can’t come to terms with the fact it lost.
Let the schadenfreude flow through them.
No ####ing way!!
I needed money after being home sick for a few years.
I walked into a livery office and was in a cab that night.
Got the paperwork done that week :)
There’s ALWAYS a job, or TWO if needed. Even for delicate college snowflakes.
Deliver pizza for all I care. Go on interviews in between.
Apologies to you as you live there...
Wrong. CA is the crown jewel of this great country. It just happens that is also attracted large numbers of liberals, most of which came from out of state. Like Pelosi, Boxer, et al.
Btw, CA has more conservative type patriots than the entire population of many states.
Interesting story about how Reagan used the University of California to launch his career.

The clip of him doing what was essentially a mic drop is one of my favorite.

I predict 8 more years of crying, wailing and gnashing of teeth with plenty of panties in a knot.
“People’s Inauguration Protest”...PIP!
That’s about what it amounts to....
I’ve been wondering the same thing. Where do they get off using public money to not just criticise, but agitate against one particular politician?
Not to mention sponsoring a terrorist riot against the President Elect.
A short stroll through their website ( http://oakes.ucsc.edu/ ) reveals a rabid, vicious and vociferous coven of stone faced Communists being sponsored to live in luxury on the coast (houses over on that side of SC go for millions).
Don’s got a lot to do. But I have to ask - where has the California “Republican” party been on things like this?
Anyone should be able to make an issue out of outrageous misconduct like this.
My niece—a student there—may be sympathetic, but has no time for such protests. She’s preparing to take the MCAT exam for entering medical school.
“Left still cant come to terms with the fact it lost.”

But they DIDN’T lose———and they will cry that from the rooftops for years to come. They are insane IMHO.
.
For the most part, they've been in the same place the entire Republican party has been...No where to be seen. Remember, if not for Trump, Hillary Clinton would be getting sworn in in 1.5 days. With Trump, hopefully he will turn around this entire inept party and dispose of all the corrupt insider frauds masquerading as Republicans.
I lived in California for 16 years, back when it was good.
When my family moved to the then Golden State in 1974, California gained a bunch of Republican voters.
Yes, Pelosi is from Baltimore, Boxer is originally New York, and the worthless slug Charles Manson is from Ohio.
However, when I lived there I saw an endless amount of people who were born in California, lived their entire lives there, and were barking moonbats. Not all of them, but far too many.
Then there are the anchor babies of Mexicans and Central Americans. Birthright citizenship must end. Any anchor baby born in America in 1998 or earlier and living in California is old enough to vote in California.
As you well know, the voters in the coastal counties overwhelm the voters in the rest of the state.
