John Lewis, D-Ga., the civil rights leader who questioned the legitimacy of President-elect Donald Trump.
'The truth is, it's irresponsible for John Lewis, historic as he is, to have done this,' Priebus told Chuck Todd today on Meet the Press, adding that 'Barack Obama should step up and call it what it is – it's wrong what is happening.'
'It's wrong how some of these Democrats are treating President-elect Trump,' Priebus added.

Jeeze Louise Reince, who do you think made the call to Lewis telling him what to say in the first place? This is a team effort by the democrats and Barky is the QB.
Poor John Lewis. He’s obviously suffering from senile dementia. He thinks he’s back in the ‘60’s.
I’m sure Priebus meant to say “The truth is, it’s irresponsible for John Lewis, hysterical as he is, to have done this,” I admire his restraint...
You know, voiced comments like this serve to raise the visibility of ‘the teem’ efforts by folks like Obama and Lewis. Of course it goes beyond the two of them also.
Reinse has a good point here, and he’s the right guy to make it.

Seriously. I swear sometimes I think there a lot of overpaid over-rated ppl in the top spots...most of what they say is just plain goofy and if they had an ounce of common sense they’d be much quieter.

It’s possible Priebus knows this and the request is an attempt to move the issue back on to Lewis where it belongs
rather the “Trump attacks a Civil Rights hero” narrative.

I think what he’s doing here is smart...shining the spotlight on the vileness of the rat party, in particular after the election, and demanding their leader (Barry) take sides.
Fat chance that will happen. BO’B, himself, has said aloud that DJT was illegitimate. BTW, he has yet to make that same conclusion regarding himself; being a son of British citizen and American mother, and an educator/’professor’ of the AMERICAN CONSTITUTION and all that. Send ‘em to school and they learn nothing, forgetting the most important lessons...that of NBC.

Lewis, and the RATs, tossed that hand grenade at Trump...pre-planned and on purpose. Really pretty stupid of em, but they did it.
Trump responded with a cruise missile.
Reince is the laser guidance target guy homing the missile in for a direct hit.
Rats are playing checkers. Trump is play chess. RATs are used to a whimp and weak GOPe that would just sit and take it.
They are waaaaaayyyyy out of their league....finally. We have fighter in Trump. The first one in a long, long time. He’ll soon be CIC of all the military and has a domestic standing civilian army of unprecedented size that many don’t realize, or recognize exists. The libs need to tread lightly. They have no inkling of what they’re truly up against now. It’s soon going to become very “unpopular” to be a lib. Let’s hope and pray Keith Ellison becomes the DNC leader...it will go a long way to sealing their coffin. The globalists like Soros have gotta be crapping in their pants.
Yeah, what ever happened to the good old days of "W"! He never fought back like this, and always got respect for it from the Democrats!

And I'm truly amazed at the Stockholm-syndrome Republicans who are aghast at these techniques the Trump team is using! They run to their fainting couches and tut-tut all of this...this...oh, I can't say it! Unpleasantness! Imagine! Actually fighting back against the RATs! The horror! Oh, how they LONG for the days of "W", who would NEVER stoop to fight back!
All I can say to those Republicans is: clutch your pearls, grab your petticoats girls (and boys), and let the Trump team (the REAL men and women) take care of business! We'll call you out from hiding when it's all over and those mean old RATs are defeated.
1) Forget it. Obama call out a fellow black race-baiter? Hah.
2) This business of demanding that Daddy / Boss / Alpha denounce something somebody else said has been tiresome for quite some number of years. Let the Dims make their demands, and simply ignore them. We don’t have to play that game.
I am all for fighting back and am happy that PEOTUS is a fighter.. but sometimes the talking heads on news shows and others in public speaking positions have a way of restating the obvious.
