Carly Fiorina, a 2010 California Senate candidate, also wants to run in Virginia.

OMG!

She’d never win. Virginia is a blue state now. Hillary winning itbhas convinced me VA is never going back.

If I was younger I’d move there just for the honor of being able to vote for Laura Ingraham... She’s that good.

Laura Ingraham should run for President some day. She is so smart and articulate and nice and clean (as Biden says).

I’d put my ballot in her box any day.

I’ve always admired her and had a not-too-secret crush.

Brat needs to stay put and help overthrow Ryan...he belongs in the House longer.

What they don’t mention here is Ingram’s support of Trump. Trump APPRECIATES supporters, particularly early supporters, and will pay back the favors. Much of Virginia is a 30 minute helicopter ride from the White House (or Andrews). Trump could show up there every week and hold rallies during the campaign (and barely miss being at the White House)...and OBVIOUSLY motivate a huge Republican turnout.

If I were Cain, I’d be trying to figure out a way to blackmail Laura out of the race as quickly as possible - or I’d be working on my concession speech.

Will VA Republicans learn from history? Or repeat it?
Cucinelli lost by about 40,000 votes. He got about 80,000 votes less than McDonell did. They had basically the same ideology.

Cucinelli lost because Republicans did not have a GOTV-Get Out The Vote effort. The Cucinelli people might try the excuse that it was those “other” Republicans who did not get out those “other” Republicans.

The lesson. Run a complete campaign. Regardless of who is the candidate, build the GOTV organization now. Get to know the voters now.

The Virginia Republican Primary election looks like it will be split nine ways to Sunday, between strong names, strong personalities and political strengths. This advantages one person... Kaine.

Ingraham worked for the U.S. Supreme Court. I believe under Scalia. A bright gal.
