Thousands of demonstrators are expected to turn out in Washington next week for protests aiming to "shut down" the inauguration of Donald Trump as the next U.S. president, organizers said on Thursday.
Protesters will attempt to close down 12 security checkpoints at the U.S. Capitol, where Trump will take the oath of office on Jan. 20, and along the 2.5-mile (4-km) parade route down Pennsylvania Avenue, according to leaders of a group called DisruptJ20.
"We want to shut down the inauguration," organizer David Thurston told a news conference. "We want to see a seething rebellion develop in this city and across the country."
A representative of the Trump transition team could not be immediately reached for comment, nor could a spokesman for the District of Columbia police.

I'm certain the people who plan to attend know that miscreants like this organizer will be joining them. Mr. Thurston may well get a seething rebellion, but I doubt it will be the one he's hoping to see because the people seething with anger are not the ones looking for communism and Obama II.
There should be ZERO mercy or tolerance for any of these people . Finally...we should be putting them in the hospital and allowing their relatives to conduct a few funerals .
They should be rounded up , en masse , and placed in very difficult detainment facilities , and held for weeks until each and everyone can be arraigned and charged . The strongest stacked charges should be levied against them . Resulting in permanent criminal records for all involved .

Oh, I think the media will go out of their way to ensure the television viewing audience has more than their fill of these rabble-rousers, probably gleefully accompanied by grossly inflated reports of the numbers of attendees. Media is just hoping and praying for some "police brutality" they can video and play over and over.
Violent protesters should be arrested and charged with domestic terrorism, then given 10 to 20 years in the slammer to reconsider their treasonous behavior.

When the nice men with lots of guns warn thugs not to disrupt the Inauguration, it’s a good idea to listen. The difference between a “peaceful” but forceful disruption, and a diversion for a violent attack is too subtle to divine under pressure. The men who are willing to take a bullet for President Trump are more than willing to fire one instead.
I’ve read that 5000 National Guard members have been called up. Added to regular security, police, and Secret Service, there is likely 15,000 people involved to keep order.
My main concern is a sniper while Trump is at the podium, or some sort of explosion at the same.
I look forward to seeing the snowflakes and anarchists meeting up with Bikers for Trump and the US military - the 1968 Democratic Convention in Chicago was entertaining to see the Yippies put into the paddy wagons.
I hope the Secret Service maintains its historical lack of sense of humor and puts as many of these scum down as ammo allows.
