Someday, Bill O'Reilly may add to his list of historical books, which include Killing Kennedy and Killing the Rising Sun, the title Killing CNN.
It portends to be the chronicle of a vital turning point in American history, the death of the propaganda machine in our politics, and the resurgence of genuine journalism.
I have for some time now eschewed referring to most American news institutions as "mainstream media" and instead termed them what they are: the Ministry of Propaganda (MoP).

For those who may find themselves uneasy at the possibility of official censorship, remind yourselves that what CNN is being censored for is not reporting, but lying. They actually accused Trump of hiring Russian prostitutes to urinate on a hotel bed where Obama had slept – and then, at the press conference, had the audacity to accuse him of being "improper" in his refusal to dignify their propaganda with a response.
Your time is over, CNN. Let your liberal cohorts in other parts of the propaganda machine take note. When you strike at Trump with lies, he will avenge the insult with that most terrifying of all weapons: truth. To paraphrase a famous Democrat president (FDR), you have nothing to fear but Trump himself. Well should you.

Censure and its synonyms criticize, reprehend, condemn, and denounce all essentially mean “to find fault with openly.” Additionally, censure carries a STRONG suggestion of authority and often refers to an official action.
So yes, censure WOULD have been the better word to use.
I read some time ago that Fox was pulled from many US bases around the world by this administration.
Trump should do it to CNN, pull it from every fed building and military base. #FakeNews
Our YMCA started playing CNN on the TV where the stationary bikes and treadmills were a few years back. I stopped going. I tried to put on headphones, but that damned TV and their headlines was just right there, I couldn’t take it any more.
Return to genuine journalism? These propagandists wouldn’t even know what that looks like. The only way CNN dies is if significant numbers stop watching them and stop believing them, like what is almost already true of MSNBC. Only the fringe wacko Rachel Mad Cow Disease sexless nutburgers still think MSNBC is credible journalism.
Trump can’t kill CNN. Only their investors can. And the investors will if they find their brands suffer by being associated with CNN.
KILLING EULOGIZING CNN

Nothing was verified, in fact it was largely debunked, but this was the October Surprise the Clintons and the Left were holding out hope would explode in the media before the election. Only the story was SO unable to hold up to actual fact-finding that the Clintons couldn’t find anyone to run with it - until Buzzfeed tried their Hail Mary pass to scuttle the inauguration.
No, but their customers can. And that is already happening. Big-market daily newspapers are shrinking (and dying) at a gigantic rate. I suspect this past election cycle has accelerated the process.
Hoaxes in politics is nothing new. Remember the “Tunnel” leading from the White House to the Vatican back in the 1920s?
