Someday, Bill O'Reilly may add to his list of historical books, which include Killing Kennedy and Killing the Rising Sun, the title Killing CNN.
It portends to be the chronicle of a vital turning point in American history, the death of the propaganda machine in our politics, and the resurgence of genuine journalism.
I have for some time now eschewed referring to most American news institutions as "mainstream media" and instead termed them what they are: the Ministry of Propaganda (MoP).
~SNIP~
For those who may find themselves uneasy at the possibility of official censorship, remind yourselves that what CNN is being censored for is not reporting, but lying. They actually accused Trump of hiring Russian prostitutes to urinate on a hotel bed where Obama had slept – and then, at the press conference, had the audacity to accuse him of being "improper" in his refusal to dignify their propaganda with a response.
Your time is over, CNN. Let your liberal cohorts in other parts of the propaganda machine take note. When you strike at Trump with lies, he will avenge the insult with that most terrifying of all weapons: truth. To paraphrase a famous Democrat president (FDR), you have nothing to fear but Trump himself. Well should you.

So THAT explains Chelsea...
Poor Bill O’Reilly, he tried so hard to show he was more politically savvy than Donald Trump. Trump outclassed Bill at every turn and Bill was unqualifyingly condescending to Trump.
Trump and his press secretary could appear on an internet presentation they hold when they want to pass information to the public. They could respond to questions from the public just like they respond to questions from the presstitutes. It would be one, big happy forum where ANYONE could submit a question.
The press corps could be made even more irrelevant than twitter has made them already.
What I find annoying is that Trumps presser was very good, yet all the news wants to discuss is this CNN reporter. He spoke about a whole lot more than this scandal. He has a lot of good things planned for immediately after the inauguration. He’s getting right to work. They’ve been busting butt since the election.
Congressional Law or Executive Order that forbids channel bundling on all delivery medium: cable, fiber, sat, whatever and demands that customers may select and de-select channels from entering their homes.
They can do this because Nancy Pelosi told us so ( 2009 when asked where the power to regulate healthcare was located in the Constitution ). FedGov has now demonstrated authority to legalize abortion, require purchasing of a product, ban alcohol, drugs, lots of speech, lots of weapons, toilet flushes. This would pale by comparison.
Most importantly, many channels would die a merciful death as advertisers finally become aware of the scam they are currently experiencing with ad rates ( driving up the cost of all products ) bound to non-existant viewership. Nothing could be more simple.
I can't tell you how quickly I would trade the 30 spanish language channels in favor of something else. And CNN? Well adios hijoputas!
Bonus Hoisting ... Law that requires all citizens to purchase firearms ... or pay your tax/penalty ... this would be a very expensive lesson for the liberal scum and John Roberts, but a wonderfully entertaining bit of Schadenfreude for the rest of us :-)
No, he hired Russian Press Dudes to orate about the room in which Obama stayed.
There is another word; “censure”’, which would have made far more sense in this context. I don’t know this writer, but I have to wonder if he simply used the wrong word.
“To censure” is “to strongly disapprove of” or “to withhold approval or recognition of” and one often hears the phrase “official censure”. This is really what Trump is doing - strongly disapproving of and withholding recognition of, and as several people have commented, he is NOT “censoring” anything.
Just ask the Cherokees about that.
I am part Cherokee and have no problem with Jackson. Those were different times and he did adopt a Cherokee as his son.
The Trail of Tears was the result of Jackson’s policies.
He had been selling Cherokee lands without permission for decades before he became well-known.
He adopted two Indian children. One was a Creek following the Creek Wars. There is little known of the second.
The good that Jackson did for this country outweighs all the belly aching over the Trail of Tears.
You mean plunging the nation into a ten year recession/depression because of his anti-national bank jihad.
It took the discovery of gold in California with the subsequent expansion of the money supply to shake off the Jacksonian debacle.
I credit him for telling the Nullifiers that an attempt at secession would meet his sword and that the Union was inviolate. As president he was nothing special certainly not meeting his greatness as a general.
You are an idiot on this subject.
If an idiot, a correct idiot.
He should give them kindergarten-like rules, including sharing, crayons, and little rugs for nap-time.
Maybe have them sing some songs like "The Eenise Weensie Spider" and "I'm a Little Teapot".
Amen...we like Trump because he’s a FIGHTER!!
