The horrific suicide video of a 12-year-old girl has gone viral - and police say there is nothing they can do to stop it. Katelyn Nicole Davis, of Cedartown Georgia, streamed herself on Facebook live on December 30, saying that she had been sexually abused by a family member. She continued filming as she hanged herself in the front yard of her Cedartown home. Now the video is being shared online, however, and Polk County authorities say they are powerless to stop it proliferating, Fox 5 reported Wednesday.

Good grief!
God bless you, sir.
How much simpler and happier would her life have been and to what age would she have lived if she'd never joined Facebook (piss be upon it's name and Zuckerberg) or YouTube?
Of what use are these damnable websites and what do they actually add to a life?
This girl is clearly a prepubescent so why did her parents allow her to wear so much makeup? Many of today’s young girl look like “Pretty Baby.” Too bad they don’t realize (now) that fresh, clean skin is the most beautiful of all.
From another site:
As for why Katelyn decided to kill herself, some of her reasons can be seen by checking out her online diary and Instagram account. According to her, she was already on medication for depression, had attempted suicide before, was a cutter, and was beaten by her stepfather who she also accused of trying to rape her.

“How much more of this insanity can God tolerate?”
God has been tolerating this insanity since Cain killed Abel.
His tolerance is the reason some of are not being judged by Him for our own acts of insanity.
Too many kids lie about rape and abuse. Many lie so much they don’t know the truth. These days, too many are after the attention. Social media doesn’t help. Knew one messed up girl who lied about being felt up and the police hounded the innocent guy so much that he eventually blew his brains out. She laughed as she recanted her story.
Not saying the 12 year old in the article was lying or telling the truth, none of us know, but one would think she could have told someone rather than play it out on FB.
Very correct!
Frankly, having both parents focus on their jobs when they have young teens is a huge mistake for humanity. Twelve year olds need a TON of love and attention, not much less than a three year old. They need benign supervision. Not two parents serving a boss somewhere.
I know this. I was a beautiful, developed 12 year old with two parents at high powered jobs. IT IS UTTER CHILD NEGLECT and I’m lucky to be alive.
What!!??
That’s why they used to have the death penalty for rape. It may not be taking a life, but it’s definitely taking a mind.
I think this social media stuff changes the way people think, and usually not in a good way. I’m so glad all this stuff passed me by. I’m not sure knowing what strangers, neighbors, friends and family are doing or thinking every instant in quick little blurbs and snippets is good for people or culture. We certainly didn’t develop with these capabilities, maybe the human brain just can’t handle them too well.

Shame....poor kid
Thanks for that warning. Not that I had any intention of trying to see the video. But what you describe makes me doubly certain it is of no value to see.
It sounds like the darkest message of depression anyone could ever be burdened with. Even hardened military vets. That says something significant.
I will keep her and her family in prayer. There’s always hope, in the infinite mercy of God.
No one wants the Christians to pay a mind to these things even though we do. But if the Christians in this country really and truly ran things, then these creeps would be put in prison for life or even be immediately executed! We speak up, we pray, many march...but in the end the culture is completely secularized and demoralized. Yet no wants salem witch hunts for fear that the innocent get taken with the guilty! So there you are...criticize Christians if you wish but this is a dark world and while victories are still achieved once in a while, it will ultimately be Christ, ruling out of Jerusalem that will put an end to such horrors! Meanwhile, we’ll try to do what we can to give succor to the injured and try to bring the worst of the worst to some sort of justice!
I do believe you misunderstood my post. I am a Christian. I have taken notice of the atrocities going on in the world. I am amazed at how many of the people I know who are Christians don’t seem to care one bit about it. It is not that I think we need witch hunts, I am merely disgusted with the worldliness of American Christians. Hence why I posted from 1 John.
Well some type of shock to our system is needed...I look at elderly folks who hardly get any benefits and then I see lifers soaking up twice what it would take to take care of a poor granny decently or a disabled vet when measured yearly and I know we are doing something wrong in our country. I hate that children are being sexually abused...If I can only yell at the moon in my own corner, I will do what I can, loudly!
2) As I stated elsewhere, I have seen the video. It needs to be talked about, because of what it was that brought poor Katelyn to that point.
3) It is my understanding she did not use Facebook Live, but rather a website called Live.me.
4) The internet is forever. The video will never go away. Instead of bellyaching over it, why not go after those who made Katelyn think it was necessary in the first place.
Katelyn stated elsewhere her abuser was her stepfather.
Me too....agreed.
